The reason I have it checked is because I don’t want vendors to access the WordPress dashboard. Is there any other way it can be done without affecting the Editor user role?

    Hello,
Since the Editor role has the same privileges (minus a few) that vendors do- no I actually am not certain how to write in an exception for editors.
And Idea– the code below will allow access for the Shop Manager role.
You could use this code, and then use a plugin like User Role Editor to add the editor capabilities to the Shop Manager Role.
HOWEVER- please take note that this piece of code must be removed before you update to the Pro version 1.4.0 release (our next major release– not out yet…) – so do not update your Pro to 1.4.0 without first removing this code from your theme/child theme functions.php.
