    I setup a user account to sell my own products through my marketplace. I clicked connect with stripe, filled out all the info and then got redirected to my website. However it still says that I am not connected with Stripe. If I go to Stripe itself and login, it shows I am connected and the account is active. I also had my first vendor reporting this same error and has actually tried twice and now has two accounts linked with Stripe. Neither one of our dashboards show us as connected and both say we need to connect with Stripe.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Joey!

    That’s no good! Have you triple checked all your settings and keys for Stripe? The only time an error like this would occur is if you have your gateway configured incorrectly, or if Stripe has you configured incorrectly, or if you have your Stripe dashboard set to test mode instead of live mode and your website is set to the opposite value (you must set test on stripe.com and in the gateway settings on your website, or live, but not have them opposite on either site).

    Ben,

    I beleive I have all of those correct. I will attach screen shots.

    I have Stripe in Live mode.

    I have Stripe enabled in Woocommerce Checkout settings and Test Mode is not checked. All of my keys are filled in. the button functioned properly when I clicked from Vendor Dashboard payment settings to Stripe. It showed my logo at the top of the page, etc on the Stripe form vendors fill out.

    Anything else I should check?

    Ben,

    I went to the Stripe platform and under settings-Connect-platform settings, I clicked “Test the OAuth flow” link and got this fatal error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘Error making StripeOAuth request: (400) Bad Request’ in /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-gateway-stripe-connect/classes/lib/StripeOAuth.class.php:346 Stack trace: #0 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-gateway-stripe-connect/classes/lib/StripeOAuth.class.php(174): StripeOAuth->getTokens(‘ac_83OiI5UVc7H0…’, false) #1 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-gateway-stripe-connect/gateway-stripe.php(155): StripeOAuth->getAccessToken(‘ac_83OiI5UVc7H0…’) #2 [internal function]: stripe_check_connect(”) #3 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(525): call_user_func_array(‘stripe_check_co…’, Array) #4 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-settings.php(392): do_action(‘init’) #5 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-config.php(99): require_once(‘/home/coastalco…’) #6 /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home/coastalco…’) #7 /home/ in /home/coastalcollectiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-gateway-stripe-connect/classes/lib/StripeOAuth.class.php on line 346

    Not sure what this is or if this may be a reason it is not working correctly.

    400 – Bad Request The request was unacceptable, often due to missing a required parameter.

    In other words, you’ve got something configured wrong, or Stripe does. One of you will have to work with each other to fix it. 🙂 Give em a call!

    For the live credentials, notice the secret key starts with sk_live, the publishable key starts with pk_live, and the client ID starts with ca_ — Make sure yours do too, otherwise you’ve got the wrong data in the wrong place.

    Only Stripe can tell you what was wrong with the request, by phoning them.

    Yes. All of my keys begin the same exact way. I guess I will try and reach out to them as well. I did notice there was a production client_id and a development client_id. I am currently using the production one. Is this correct or should I be using the development one?

    Production == LIVE Transactions

    Development = TEST / SANDBOX

    I got it fixed. Not sure exactly what it was, but I noticed in my settings on stripe that I did not have www in my domain name. I am guessing this was triggering the error.
