    Hi,
we are testing WC Vendors free to check if we can realize our idea: a store where a customer can enter a single vendor store and buy ONLY from that vendor (http://www.km-bio.es/tiendas/hevilla/), so the customer doesn’t know about the other vendors stores, he/she just know about his vendor shop (PLEASE NOTE: we disabled the click to single product page because we need the customer to stay only in the shop page)

Doing so we need to be able to understand programmatically, in the checkout page, which is the vendors is selling the products (vendor ID or vendor email,i mean, anything permit to identify in a unique way the vendor) , so, using this plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-checkout-field-editor/11725925 we will be able to display/show fields in due the vendor characteristics.

I hope i explain better then i did in this support post (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/single-vendor-code/#post-9185839), i’m sorry. 🙂

    Thank you very much
    Angelo

I know you have explained more here.. but.. I am still struggling to figure out what exactly you are asking me to provide to you.
what do you want to remove from the checkout page? The “sold by” part? (that just leads to the vendor store..)
I would like to help, I just cannot quite figure out what you are looking for. 🙁 Sorry–

Anna, thank you for your time!

i will try to explain it more simply:

With WC Vendors plugin the customer is intended to be free to navigate in every store the site offer, buying products from different vendors.

Our idea is to use VC vendors to create a multi store on a single site BUT we want the customer can buy products only from a single vendor, i mean, we will give to the customer only his vendor shop URL, so the customer will buy only a Vendor products; you can see a vendors shop page here http://www.km-bio.es/tiendas/hevilla/

Since every vendor want to have specific information from his customer we thought to install this plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-checkout-field-editor/11725925) that permit us to create customs fields con the checkout page…. BUT since EVERY vendor has HIS custom fields we want to hide/show fields based on the vendor the customer is buying from…. so, for example:

If in the cart there are product only from the vendor A, we will display the custom checkout fields of the vendor A, and if the vendor is the B, we will show the B custom checkout fields and hide the A fields…

So we want to create a snippet that do:

Loop on all cart products, get the Vendor ID from every product and if there is more than 1 vendor ID fire a error message (f.e: you cannot buy from more than one vendor)…and if there is just one Vendor we will manage the custom fields for that vendor.

Obviously we can do this logic manually by asking the customer to choose his vendor from a combo box in the checkout page, but, it would be more efficient to do it automatically but the snippet…

Hope i did it in a good way this time…. thank you again Anna

    Angelo,
This is going to require quite a bit of custom coding for your idea to work. Not impossible- but it will be a challenge.
You might want to look at this forum thread, where some people have worked with creating a “one vendor” cart solution– but please bear in mind that I have note tested this and we do not support it because this is not how our plugin is formatted for checkout.

I hope I have helped, I can get an idea of that you are trying to do, but it is quite a bit out of the scope of our support since we just do not support this type of alteration to our checkout configuration. 🙁
