    Hi,

I have just uploaded WC Vendors Pro from using WC Vendors, now when I test the vendor image uploaded all I get every time is HTTP error.

I am using this plugin with Buddy Boss oneSocial theme & Marketplace.

Please advise as this is obviously quite critical to this plugin actually being of use to me.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Jason,
    Two things to try first.
    1. Login as a VENDOR by using the WooCommerce my-account page to login. (by default, the url is yoursite.com/my-account)
    Do NOT
login using the buddyboss modal/special login form.
Test and see if you can add images if the vendor logs in using the my-account page.

    2. If not, install the plugin Really Simple SSL https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/ . Run through the options in that plugin to secure all of the content on your site. Test. See if the image upload works properly.

Let me know how this testing goes, please.

    Hi Anna,

    thank you for your response.

I had to go with option 2 as I could not even log out as a vendor. But now after installing the new plugin everything seems to be working.

    Thanks again for your assistance.

    Regards

    Hi Anna,

    another issue has arrived.

I cannot delete the Default Store Banner and I am correct in assuming that, if I have set the default store banner then my vendors cannot add there own store banner at all.

If this is correct then I need to delete the default store banner.

I did see a thread about this on the forum from May 2016, but I did not understand how to perform the actions that were advised.

    Thanks again

    Jason

To remove the default store banner, you need to modify the template store-header.php.
If you want to do that, I can walk you through it.
However, you can change the default banner by going to wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > pro (scroll to the bottom of that page).
Your vendors should be able to add any store banner they wish regardless of what you have chosen as the default store banner.
They go to: pro dashboard > settings > branding.

    Hi Anna,

    thanks you for your response.

But the vendors cannot add their store banners anymore, they can uploaded the picture but the save button does not work anymore. I can only assume that this is because of the default store banner as it worked before I had the default store banner turned on.

So maybe I need to be walked through the procedure of modifying the template.

Also vendors cannot upload photos from their smartphones is there some reason why this wouldn’t work?

    Thanks

    Jason

Would you mind passing along an admin login & password in a private reply so I can take a look?
It may be something else, and I’d like to rule that out before you go the template modification route.

I was able to upload my banner and icon as a vendor.
I first logged in via the my-account page to make sure.
    Then I logged out.
I logged in using a new browser via the link at the top right (icon) and edited the banner.. upload worked.
Save button was working both times.
