    Hi,

    On this page:

    http://wuyizhuang.com/%E5%95%86%E5%93%81%E5%88%86%E7%B1%BB/inperson-training/canada-2/ontario-2/mississauga-2/

If you click “wxia0822” which is a vendor, it brings you to “/vendor_stores/dashboard/” which doesn’t make too much sense to me. It should bring people to “/vendor_stores/wxia0822/”.

The same problem happens to the link after a vendor login to dashboard/”View store”. This one should go to the specific the store of the logged in vendor.

Also the links in this page:

    http://wuyizhuang.com/vendor_stores/

When user click on one page, they most likely want to know details of the specific vendor instead of some general information about all vendors.

With the theme you sent to us, we don’t experience *any* of the issues you are having. I dont understand Chinese (or whichever language it is) so it’s hard to be able to understand what I’m even looking at…..

The link on the first page – if you highlight the whole link and right click and you should have the “go to…” option to go there :

Ben, it is OK you don’t know Chinese:)

But you can tell the url. When a visitor click a vendor name (wxi0822) ,he should go to that vendor’s store front (/vendor_stores/wxia0822) instead of a general dashboard (vendor_stores/dashboard/).

    Hrm, that’s pretty strange.

1.) Edit your Pro Dashboard page, and do NOT make it part of /vendor_stores/ — Just set it to yourdomain.com/dashboard/

    2.) Re-save Permalinks

    3.) Try it again

If this doesnt help, I’ll need login details to your site to inspect your configuration.

I found the vendor store slug is not right (http://wuyizhuang.com/vendor_stores/dashboard/). It was generated automatically when i did testing “apply to be a vendor”. I am sure I used wxia0822 as store name when applying .

I cannot recall I manually change it. I will just erase it and redo the process to see if I can duplicate the problem.

    Ben,

I know what the hell happening, although I still can not fix it.

I explained to you before I need to hide the “apply to be a vendor” due to the nature of the business – we invite the right candidate to apply to be a vendor after they complete learning our course and we think they are ready. So that is why i want to hide the link to others, especially the new accounts (the time they register account, they usually start learning and no way become a trainer that time).

So the process I test is this:

    – Admin sends url http://wuyizhuang.com/dashboard/ in the invitation to user wxia0822 to apply to be a vendor.

    – wxia0822 login to the website, and open the url in private message. And fill out the form.

    – The new WC vendor is generated by system as draft with slug http://wuyizhuang.com/vendor_stores/dashboard/ . (Here it seems like the system take the /dashboard/ in the url as variable to generate a vendor store slug and ignore either store name I input in the application form or my user name).

But /dashboard/ is the url everybody will be redirected to when clicking “Pro dashboard”, right? No idea what is happening.

This is not a Divi issue since I switched to default theme and the problem persists.

I checked “all user and guest to apply to be a vendor” and unhid the “Pro dashboard”. Then I went through the same procedure, but the problem persists.

I already delete all the stores generated in my testing so you can test yours. To duplicate this issue, you have to apply as a regular user from front end first.

Let me know if you need the site admin lgoin credentials. It is a Chinese website but you can have English backend if you click on the top Admin bar (EN-US) after login.

    Admin login:

    sgadmin

    I!xbe!)iV(Glyj70eKR)PX*@

It is not a production website so don’t worry to make any changes (besides I have good backups both onsite and offsite). Please let me know the changes if you make any so I can log them.

Did this still did not fix the problem.

What I did is erase /vendor_stores/ from the “store slug” and leave it blank on Pro page. Then save the perm links.

@ben: you can leave it as it is until further notice. I will uninstall pro and free and reinstall them in case something messed up from the very beginning.

Uninstall free and pro, reinstall them – it fixed the problem. I believe something was messed up last time after installing pro.

    Thanks Ben!

Weird! It sounds like the database got goofy on you somewhere. Glad that you were able to fix it, sorry my replies were slow. (My Mom from 1200 miles away is visiting this week to see her new grandson). We’re here if you need us for anything else.

    Cheers

    Ben

That is fine ben. It maybe very difficult to troubleshoot since I did not strictly follow the procedure when I was doing the first time install. Enjoy your family life :)
