    Hello,

I have 2 issues with the Vendor page:

    1. The breadcrumbs are not aligned properly. They’re sitting way on top of the page instead of below the banner as in the main shop page.
    2. The banner image defaults to a cover page. Is there a way to customize it?

Please see the file in the link below for screenshots to the issues.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the PDF with the highlights. ๐Ÿ™‚

In the /templates/store/ folder you will see all the templates that control how everything is displayed. You can tweak them in any way you like! Check out the KnowledgeBase for the articles on changing templates, and the Pro Setup guide at the bottom for a detailed list of what each file controls.

    Cheers

    Ben

    Hey Ben!

    Thanks for that!

Breadcrumbs: I managed to move it down but the links were all messed up. I’ve hidden them as I can live without them for now. I’ll come back to it later. ๐Ÿ™‚
Banner: I was being a real dummy, I was basically using a massive image. My apologies for the “Duh” moment.

Now, the social Icon: When I add a store icon, the store name and the social media links move to the right. I’ve attached a file with a screenshot of the issue. Please can you help fix it? I am not sure what to change or what code to add.

    Thank you for your help!

    Kind regards,
    bharath

That’s an interesting one. What theme are you using?

Shopkeeper! That’s a theme we don’t have. Could you kindly email me the zip file from it as you received it from when you bought it? [email protected] is me, and please include a link to this forum thread so I know what support topic the theme is for.

    Hi Bharath,

I installed Shopkeeper, and looked at the test vendor store. It looks perfect. No alignment issues or icon issues. Perhaps add a shop description and see if that changes anything, I noticed it was a lot of blank space on your PDF.

WC Vendors Pro introduces new vendor store fronts that are separate from the free offering of hooking into the WooCommerce archive pages. We use a own custom post type for the vendor stores as it provides much greater flexibility over the design, features and functions of the store. This means that by default our pages are outside of the WooCommerce checks to define what page is a WooCommerce page which will confuse some themes and break the layouts.

We override the is_woocommerce() check and add all our pages to ensure that they are within these pages. This means that any theme that is developed to use these checks instead of hard coding layouts will work with our pages and require no modification. There are a lot of themes out there that are WooCommerce compatible however the way they are written means they arenโ€™t always using the checks we rely on to inherit the store layout.

    Hey Ben,

    It’s me again.

OK, Can I just paste the entire code from the “archive-product.php” into the “store.products.php” file?
I can’t figure out what the “layout” bit is.

I’ve attached the “archive-product.php” file, any chance you could help me identify it? I’d be grateful if you could please tell me where in the “store.products.php” file i should post that code?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    bharath

If you copy everything, then it wont show any vendor layouts. It’ll just show your shop. You have to copy the code that the theme has installed into those templates in order to inherit them.
