    Hello,

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but with the new update, the entire vendor store page(s) get messed up. Things start shifting over to the left hand side (See attached photos), images get greatly inflated, there is random text on the bottom of the store(s) now too.

How does one go about getting this corrected…

Need it fixed ASAP if possible

    Thanks,
    Nazar

    Hi Nazar,

What theme are you using? I’ll check it out locally. The v1.1.1 update should not have “changed” how your stores look. It should look the same as in v1.1.0.

    Hi Ben,

I am using Savoy – Minimalist AJAX WooCommerce Theme
It was working, prior to the update (I had updated the theme a few days ago, works, and now seems to be a little wack.

Any idea what it could possibly be?

    thanks,
    Nazar

New theme! That’s one we don’t have. Could you kindly email me the theme zip file to [email protected] and include a link to this thread in the email so I know what the theme is for? I’ll install it locally and check it out.

Oh dear. That’s a horribly coded theme. They have edited all the WooCommerce templates and injected PHP and HTML into every one of them, inadvertently making your Vendor Stores look like garbage.

    You have three options:

1.) Tell the theme developer to use hooks instead of hard coding PHP into WooCommerce templates. This is the recommended practice by WooThemes, hard coding templates is NOT what a theme developer should be doing. All it will do is complicate using third party plugins and cause you a lot of headaches. Particularly, it’s him hardcoding the archive-product.php template that is the issue for the Vendor Stores layout.

2.) You can follow this KB article to fix the templates yourself, by adding his hack theme code into the WC Vendors Pro templates so they use his theme layouts: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/pro-store-layout-fixes/

3.) You can pay us to do this for you, we’d charge $75 for fix the layouts so that it works with the poorly designed theme.

Hmmmmmm, that’s unfortunate to hear that this theme is a horrible theme 🙁 I did a little coding myself to get my menu’s setup to appear and disappear. But probably would mess something up in terms of fixing this issue. Personally, I like the theme and made it work for my needs 🙂

You’re welcome to take a peak!

Honestly, I would be more than happy to pay you guys to fix this error, as long as it gets fixed, and future theme updates don’t mess it up. Let me know how you’d to proceed with this payment.

Thanks. Jamie will look at this tonight. It’s morning in Australia right now. For template edits — what did you want customized? Could be easy, could take time, all depends on what you want.

Wanting to have it adjust based on the item they are uploading. For example… if it’s a digital downloadable image, then I would like section like… File Type, Image Size.

Then for example if it’s a downloadable business card template, then I would like sections like… File Type (PSD, AI, etc…)

And when those are done, it would also have to reflect on the actual product page itself

    thanks,
    Nazar

    Hi Ben,

Just wanted to touch base with you in regards to the above. Did Jamie have a chance to complete the task? 🙂

    Thanks!

Sending you an email now with the new theme templates as a zip file.

Extract these files to /themes/YOURTHEME-CHILD/ and all the files are already in the right structure in the zip.
