    Hi
For some reason admin can upload maximum limit (70MB) products
    but vendor cannot?
    I keep getting this error.

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

I spoke to my hosting we did all suggested changes to php.ini and htaccess files to allow 70MB maximum upload limit. After changes ADMIN can upload up to this limit, but VENDORS get this message above.

    Can you help?

There’s a number of ways to accomplish this:

    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/

One important note is that there’s no distinction between a vendor and an admin as for upload size. It’s all global. The error you are seeing is from WordPress, rather than WC Vendors.

Let me know if this helps!

It still is giving same error.
    I changed theme function page
    changed php.ini and htaccess

as admin I have no issue uploading 70mb or less but VENDORS stuck at 3MB
It really is core of my site, so I need this to work.

I need urgent help with this issue. Can someone look at the backend of my store?
No matter what I do, all the suggestions to change upload limit does not work for VENDOR accounts.
I changed 1 vendor to admin and this account instantly can use the uploader with it’s maximum limit.
When I change it to vendor, it goes back to 3M upload limit.
This must be an issue within the plugin or my theme functions.
Because server limit is 70mb and it shows on PHPinfo page as well.
I have no other issues than this and my client is really want this site this week.

    Please need help with this.

    Thank you.

    Hi Burcu,

You will probably want to call your webhosting company and have them update the php.ini settings file for your website. It sounds like your webhosting company is not allowing your settings to work, because they control the global settings and have disabled your access to change them.

Nothing I do could fix your site unless you gave me root access to your webserver if you’re on a dedicated server. If it’s a shared hosting account, you will want to call the webhosting company.

Let me know if we can help, we’re always here if you need us and happy to check anything out that is a problem.

    Ben
