    Hi,
I had a website with pre-2.6.x woocommerce and 1.1.2 wcvpro running smoothly
Since we decided to upgrade woocommerce, wcv and wcvpro to latest (3.0.7, 1.9.11, 1.4.3), I’ve been struggling to get VENDOR SHIPPING back to work.

In the old version we had no WC shipping zones, you just had to enable Vendor Shipping as a standalone shipping method, then go to “shipping options” and disable all the others method.
Now in 3.0.x “shipping options” won’t let you do that, you should edit “shipping zones” options.

But, when I try to configure my Vendor Shipping in a zone (I am using “rest of the world” zone), it does not show up in the “add shipping method” popup.

I do not need to use zones, actually, but without setting up zones I only get “no available shipping methods” on the frontend. I already checked that the vendor has country address set up.

Do you have any suggestions for me ? 🙂

    Thanks

Hmm.. I am not sure why this is happening to you. You do not need to sue the shipping zones (woocommerce) at all. The Vendor Shipping can be used as a standalone method for shipping.

If you want to pass along an admin login & password in a private reply, I can take a look at the shipping.

Side note: You also need to update your theme. HandyStore overrides some of our templates, and those are now out of date. This will cause issues on your site.

    Thank you Anna.
Knowing for sure that I do not need to set shipping zones in order to use Vendor Shipping is already a good starting point.

I’ll start upgrading template files, then I’ll bother you again 🙂

btw, I’m attaching the “Shipping Options” page where once we had all the shipping methods.
Is it normal for version 3.x that method list is not there?
(sorry for italian language.. but I just want to show you that method list is not here anymore)

    Thanks

Honestly, they changed so much in WC 3.0 that I do not even yet know all that they changed.
This looks normal in comparison with my site’s admin.
