    Hello,

I am testing your plugin and it was great. All works perfectly except the page of vendor shop. The documentation says WC vendors requires permalink in other value different than default. But when I set my permalinks in other than default, all pages of WC vendors fault with error 404.

I have applied too several solutions unsuccesfully in google, for example this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18740419/how-to-set-allowoverride-all

    My website is https://www.listvox.com

I hope you can help me because I believe your plugin is the solution that I need.

Following the instructions of this forum I have disabled all the plugins except Woocommerce and wc vendors but there is not difference. I am using the theme storefront. The Woocommerce status says there is a problem with the version of database and it detects there is not a database maxmind for geolocation.

    Regards.

    Jonathan,
Your vendor shop should just have the permalink that you set in wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > general.. Vendor Shop Page
    By default, it is vendors/

For some reason it looks as if yours is going to a product page?

If you want, you can give me an admin login & password in a private reply, and I can take a look and try to get the vendor shop link set properly. I am not sure why it is showing up as it is right now without looking. 🙂

It is due to the fact that WC Marketplace was installed.
Do you want me to fix this?
I would need to remove the vendor roles that were created WC Marketplace and delete that plugin.
    Is that ok?

    Good morning,

Today I set the permalinks like is recommended in https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/setting-permalinks/ for wc vendors.

In this moment the link “Vendor Dashbooard” in the site menu doesn’t work.

    Regards.

    Jonathan,
You also had Dokan installed at one time? I think there is something incorrect with how your site is trying to access the vendor pages and pages created in WC Vendors, certainly. But I do not know what is going wrong- it does not make sense.
You have the pages and shortcodes set properly. Last I was logged in, the permalinks were also set properly. However, the vendor store page link (sold by) still led to a 404 even after I removed WC Marketplace and those vendor roles, and reset the WC Vendors roles.

How catastrophic would it be for you to start over with a complete fresh install with WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro only? As in complete reset.. clean new database?

Good morning, I restored backup of April 18th, in this backup there wasn’t nothing about Woocommerce.

I installed storefront, Woocommerce and wc vendors but the problem is still there… 🙁

I am not expert in wordpress and I don’t know how reinstall WordPress because I used a solution “One to click” of google to create a virtual machine with wordpress.

    Regards.

Hello, I discovered that the category links of Woocommerce were producing 404 error too… I read in somewhere that the language spanish would be alter the behavior of Woocommerce.

I restored backup again, I set the language for English and installed woocommerce and I see the default permalinks of woocommerce use this custom structure: /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/. With this permalink configuration the category links of woocommerce works fine.

But if I configure the permalinks with values recommended for wc vendors, the category links of Woo commerce produce 404 error again.

I installed WC vendors and sadly, the shop link generated above the product doesn’t work with the default permalinks of Woocommerce. The vendor dashbooard page works fine.

Can you fix the WC vendors plugin to work with the permalink suggested by Woocommerce?

    Regards.

If I configure the vendor shop page as index.php/vendors/ the link not produce error but It shows the products of the shop… What I should see there? I waited see the details of the shop.

Ok I realized the checkbox “Enable vendor shop headers” was unchecked. I set this option and I can see now the details of shop.

So, I solved my problem using index.php/ in permalinks and vendor shop page settings.

    Thank you.
