    Hi there,

    I’ve noticed that my listed products are a lot larger than what I’d like (around 166×166), I’ve tried to change the catalog image dimensions on the woocommerce settings pages as I saw that is how the images are labeled, but despite seeing that the images are considered 166×166 when seeing them through firebug they are still huge.

    A solution that I can follow through with would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @raitoavi — Could you send us the original theme zip file via email to [email protected]? We’ll check it out.

    Thanks @raitoavi — I can confirm that you are not crazy, your theme is showing the Vendor Store pages in a funky fashion. I’ve forwarded this support ticket to Jamie to check out and fix.

    Cheers

    Thank you Ben, looking forward to hearing more from Jamie and you guys. Other than my specific issue I’m hoping you guys will be able to identify and offer assistance to any visual problems you notice as well.

    Have a great weekend,

    Hi Ben,

    It has been 48 hours and I haven’t heard back from you guys, so I’m a little stressed out, and since I’m a little confused about how supports works here I’m forced to bump the thread.

    Update: The theme you are using is not 100% WooCommerce compatible. They fail to check is_woocommerce() for pages requesting shop layouts. As such, the theme will have to be fixed by the theme developer, OR you can follow this KnowledgeBase article to fix it yourself by changing around the Pro templates: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/pro-store-layout-fixes/

    If @digitalchild has time he can code that and put it on github for you.

    Any updates on this matter? it’s the single most major issue I currently have and am quite stressed out about it, any help appreciated.

    Also when is the update to fix the flat rate issues out?

    Hi Avi,

    I’ve been unable to replicate the layout issues you’re having when I use the updated templates I created. I have installed flatsome with ALL default settings and it is all working.

    Are you able to export your settings so I can import them and see what the differences are?

    Cheers,

    Jamie.

    @digitalchild Hi Jaime,

    Which settings would you like for me to export? I gave you FTP access for such a case does that not provide you with the files needed?

    Jamie was looking at Flatsome not Flatmarket. That’s the problem when too many people are in one thread, instead of posting your own thread for things. 😉 Gets confusing fast!

    He’ll get back to you shortly here.

    @digitalchild Hi Jaime,

    So what I’ve done is simply replace this file with the one located at plugins/wc-vendors-pro/templates/store but that simply made the store page empty, any other instructions I need to follow? Thanks.

    Copy it to /themes/yourtheme/wc-vendors/store/ not the plugins directory.

    Hi @ben and @digitalchild ,

    I’ve done what Ben said, still the only change is that the shop page is completely empty. Please notice the ftp details I shared at one point in this thread if that can help.

    That’s the problem when you buy themes from a guy who hard codes HTML into PHP templates instead of using hooks and filters. It makes your integration a nightmare. If you had picked a different theme……….. @digitalchild will get back to you, but gotta remember, this is ultimately a theme issue we are helping out of the goodness of our hearts. The theme guy should be shot, buried, and theme destroyed. 😉

    Thanks Ben,

    Guess it’s time to consider a new theme, anything I can ask to make sure a theme is compatible with your plugin?

    Still, I’d appreciate it if you found a solution somehow, but in the mean time I’ll start making plans.

    If you ask the theme developer this question:

    “Do you HOOK INTO WooCommerce pages, or do you hard code your HTML into the php files?”

    If they say they hook, then they are a good theme developer, and doing it right. 🙂 If they say they hard code the HTML into the php files — RUN LIKE THE WIND and avoid that developers products at all costs. 🙂
