    Hi,

I am using wc vendors pro 1.2.0 with the handystore theme.

After updating the plugin, and marking ‘Enable vendor shop headers’ in the plugin settings, I now see a new header, derived from one of vendors products- i.e. the product’s featured image and short description, instead of the store header that the vendor defined- see screenshot attached.

Please advise on how to resolve this.

    Thanks

Overriding the templates? (wp-admin > WooCommerce > System Status, see the Pro template overrides @ the bottom)

    Hi

I did what you said and checked woocommerce system status. It said that my theme (not child theme) had outdated template copies from versions 1.1.1, 1.0.2 and 1.0.3

so i copied the templates straight from the plugin to both my theme and child theme and now there are no warnings on the overrides section. However, the store banner still seems distorted, as you can see in the attached screenshot. Any ideas how to fix it?

Also, on system status->wc vendors pro, it says: ✕ -Your pro dashboard page cannot be set to your free dashboard page. Its not, its set for the pro dashboard, which actually works fine. I wonder if this is causing any problems which i;m unaware of.

I look forward to your quick and detailed reply.

    Thanks

    Hi Avraham,

1.) You said the system status said your Pro dashboard page wasnt set right. If it says that, it means it. 🙂 wp-admin > Woo > WC Vendors > Pages — Make sure THIS page is set to the WC Vendors FREE dashboard, with the WC Vendors FREE shortcode. Then click the Pro tab. Make sure THIS page is set to the WC Vendors PRO dashboard, with the WC Vendors PRO shortcode. Somewhere, one of them is messed up. We install them perfectly by default, but for some reason admins like to edit and break them, I’m not sure why.

2.) Store icons related to #1 most likely.

And of course, make sure you’re running Free v1.8.6 and Pro v1.2.2.

I did everything you said. Now all files are up to date, and all settings are correct. Still, nothing changed in the store header, and icons aren’t working.
    Please help.

Sure, can you provide admin URL, username, pass to your site?

And also a link to the page that you say is not displaying correctly, that way I can find it faster.

Please set your reply as a private reply.

    Hi,

You need to update your Handystore theme. Handy overrides all the WC Vendors templates, and provides their own. Any time you see a display issue when using Handystore, contact the theme author for support, as they have changed everything themselves.

If we were to debug this for you, we’d reset your theme, delete all custom templates, and then simply tell you it works fine and your custom templates need fixing. But since Handystore’s author did it all, you want to ask Handy for support. The current version of Handystore is v3.7, and you’re running 3.6. v3.7 is to provide support for the latest WC Vendors Pro. Be sure to keep themes/plugins up to date, otherwise you will always run into problems like this.

    Have fun
