Whgere to find info on just supplying this marketplace for vendors to sign up on and sell their own products? I have no products at all. I’m just providing a space for monthly membership payments from the vendors?

    Hello,

This is exactly what WC Vendors is for. We have a lot of our clients that use WC Vendors just like this. They create the marketplace and then market it to their potential vendors. You don’t have to have products at all and we actually discourage admins from creating products. If you want to create products then you should create a vendor account for yourself.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello,

Commissions are always due on any transaction between the store and the vendors. You can delay when the commission is paid or set the commission rate accordingly and there will be no commission. Our free paypal gateway included supports instant commissions as does our stripe paid gateway. Otherwise any other payment gateway requires that commissions are paid manually on whatever schedule you like.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    sorry to jump in,
but the only setting i see, is the marketplace setting commission to the shops, rather than other way round.

say the vendor wants to give 3% commission on all the products, he sold on our marketplace, then should i put 97% as the vendors commission? do you mean that? can you explain

    and also

okay in that case, how the additional commission on individual product works

If you want the vendor to keep 97% of the sale price, then you set your commission to 97.
