Hi Vendor Pro. I am a fan of your plugin. However there are additional features I want to enable for the store. Which of the Yith Plugins do you support? There are some features that I would like to enable for vendors such as product bundles, pre-order, size charts, color label variations, frequently bought together, FAQ etc?

Are enabling additional ecommerce capabilities like these on the roadmap? Thanks!

    Hello,

such as product bundles, pre-order, size charts, color label variations, frequently bought together, FAQ etc?

Any plugins that add features/fields.data collection on the front-end will require that you do some integration. It is impossible for us to add front-end capability to all of the various plugins out there that add features to WooCommerce.
Depending on the plugin and what it adds, integration can sometimes only be a matter of a few lines of code to get the “feature” to show on the front-end for vendors.
From experience, I can tell you that any of the plugins that add a product type will require more extensive work to integrate.
We will have a pre-order Extensions available soon- though it is WooCommerce Pre-Orders not Yith.

That makes sense. Great to know about pre-order? How soon? I will disable YITH’s version then.

What about adding WooCommerce Sensei, WooCommerce Subscriptions and WooCommerce Membership capabilities for vendors?

    Thanks 🙂

    Hello,
All of these extensions are quite extensive.. we will be adding more and more in time. WooCommerce Subscriptions is one that has been discussed; I am not sure about the other two.
First on the list is BOOKINGS. WooCommerce Bookings integration is #1 priority.
The Pre-Orders should be available soon.

Can it be applied to products on the backend for vendors in the admin in the meantime or it it only for marketplace/sitewide subscriptions and marketplace/sitewide education?

I do not know how the Subscriptions or Sensei work at this time with WC Vendors on the back-end.
Subscription products have caused issues; so I am fairly certain you’ll need to wait until we integrate this one.
I have no idea about Sensei, with the education… I have never used that plugin.

Great news about Bookings coming 🙂 and I deleted Yith pre-orders and will use yours when it comes out.

Question: How do I add a menu item to the venue stores? I want to add vendors blog and change the names of the menu items. i.e. change “items” to “shop”. See attached for menu I am referring to.

And, what about integration with UPS Shipping method https://woocommerce.com/products/ups-shipping-method/

    UPS shipping method: https://woocommerce.com/products/usps-shipping-method/

Auto tax rate calculator -see question posted on other post
    International TAX rates i.e. VAT

Integration with product CSV import: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/

These all seem very important for any store.

    Thanks so much!

That screenshot shows all kinds of stuff that is built into your theme- not from us. You’ll need to direct that question to the theme author, as I do not know how he has structured those menu items for the stores. Cool feature, though.

CSV import for vendors is not a great idea- you can import their items FOR them using a CSV for WooCOmmerce. It is a royal pain- but you can. Then assign those products to the vendor.

As for shipping & taxes— those will be possibilities in the future, but not until there is work to be done in core files of WC Vendors — not until then can we really work with a tax or shipping structure to allow for those types of extensions/integrations.

If I install these will they at least show up on the front end for customers to calculate shipping rates by weight? As in a default for all vendors?

    UPS Shipping method https://woocommerce.com/products/ups-shipping-method/
    USPS shipping method: https://woocommerce.com/products/usps-shipping-method/

Otherwise it is manual for all taxes and shipping?

If it is all manual, how does the vendor calculate the shipping for multiple items in the same order without shipping X QYT or Shipping X 1 (yet multiple items ordered causing the shipping to be underpaid.

    Hello,
The fields for the customer will be able to be filled in- but the shipping rates will not be paid or allocated correctly for the vendors.

If it is all manual, how does the vendor calculate the shipping for multiple items in the same order without shipping X QYT or Shipping X 1 (yet multiple items ordered causing the shipping to be underpaid.

At this time, the only way to avoid over-payment of shipping (Vendor Shipping) is if more than one of THE SAME item is purchased, and you are using flat rate shipping.
Our Pro v1.4.0 will have more shipping options for our Vendor Shipping:

    So far upcoming in v1.4.0:
    For shipping features:
So far, for Flat Rate, we should have these features added:
Minimum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Maximum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Max spend per product ( Charge no more than X no matter qty ) (product and store level)
Per order flat rates ie: $5 no matter the items international and national (store level)
Free shipping over x spend ( store level, product level? )

For country Table rate, these features should be added:
    zip codes
    zip code wildcard
    zip code ranges
    qty overrides per entry
Max spend no more than $X no matter qty (product and store level)
Remove any flat rate shipping options from shipping configuration in admin area when selected
Show country rate table for admin override and calculate shipping based on this.

Is your plugin compatible with https://wordpress.org/plugins/contexture-page-security/

I am trying give access to a vendor to edit a single page. Thanks 🙂 You have been very helpful. Hopefully others will benefit from the answers as well.

PS. FYI I just wanted to give WC Vendor kudos for being an exceptionally good plugin and to you Anna for providing exceptional support. I don’t think I would have survived this set-up process with out it.

I am so glad to hear we have been able to help 🙂
As for that plugin- I have no idea. Never used it– the reviews are not great and it has not been updated in 2 years… so I would recommend you look around for another free membership/group restriction plugin other than that one.
