Hi – I noticed that the WC Vendors Shop page (example: http://hausie.com/shop/pani-ka) is not compatible with woocommerce’s shop filters. When I’m on the vendor page, all the shop filters are visible – which shouldn’t be the case, the visible filters should only pertain to that particular vendor. Also, the “Reset All Filters” doesn’t work on the vendor shop page. Please help!

You’re correct. The layered nav filters do not filter by vendor, as WooCommerce never wrote them to filter by product author (vendor). There’s no quick fix for this, we’ve not written any widgets to offer the same functionality with the extra vendor arguments. It’s a feature we will be adding to Pro at one point in the future, it just won’t be any time in the next 60 days. Once we finish up on variable/attribute front end support and begin working on v1.4.0 we can start to add things like this to our roadmap for the future.
There *are* argument filters for the WooCommerce widgets, spending some time looking at the code for these and recoding the arguments might be a quick solution if you’re willing to get your hands dirty writing some PHP, but of course, this is a relatively complex issue that may or may not be solved using filters.

Don’t know whether this helps, but Woof Product filter has a search by author filter that you can assign the role of vendor to in the premium version.

I want to have on my non-store pages a sidebar with only certain products in a widget.– I think I misunderstood – what I am looking for is a widget so I can have in multiple sidebars across my site so on certain pages only products from a certain vendor are shown.

I just wanted to check if there is a solution yet for filtering products specific to a vendor? So on the Vendor shop page, we can add a filter widget which is only applied to the current vendor (or something similar)?

Has this been resolved yet? It is a bit of a deal breaker on whether I go with WC Vendors or another marketplace plugin. (WC Vendors is my preference)
