Hello I just installed WCV 1.4
Unfortunately this version is not compatible with the toolset woocommerce views plugin.
Version 1.9 is, so I switched back to it.

    Please help.

    Regards,
    Nicholas

I would not even know where to begin to try and find out what in that plugin is possible conflicting with WC Vendors Pro 1.4.0. We do nto write that plugin..
Has that plugin updated to be WooCommerce 3.0 compatible?

“WooCommerce Views makes it possible to build custom WooCommerce sites with Views. You will be able to create product lists, design product templates and build custom searches for products.”

    https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/getting-started-woocommerce-views/

The plugin has not been updated since February 22nd.

The problem may be caused by some of the changes we were necessitated to make for the WooCommerce 3.0 updates- many changes were made in WooCommerce.
So I am not sure if the plugin uses an old method that is no longer in WC Vendors and WooCommerce..

    Hello,

The suggested code change makes no sense as to why it works when the code we have is effectively the same thing. Not only that he is declaring the post as global meaning he has full access to the object to only override it on the very next line with a local version and a db query. Which is completely unnecessary.

I would really like to know why Views isn’t using the product global and is using the underlying post instead.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

I do not believe that anyone had answered Jamie’s questions that he posted above, so no- I have no update on this at this time.
