    Hello!

I’m looking for a guide to create WP User Frontend forms to be able to add products from the front end instead of wordpress backend.

I found a lot of references for: https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/using-front-end-new-product-submissions in internet and this forum but the link is not longer active (error 404).

Do you have any documentation or guide to help me with that?

    Thank you very much!
    Regards,

    Hi Facundo

The Pro version of the plugin does include a front end form to add products. Unless you need to do anything super whizzy, it works great.

If you did really want to go your own custom form, I’ve used Formidable Pro (although you have to pay for this plugin), then comes the issue of having to do custom code etc. to ensure the right information gets added.

So in short, if you just want to add a product – go with WC Vendor Pro

If you really have no choice but to go the custom route, I’d highly recommend Formidable Pro (having tried many others)

There’s zero reason to use WPUF with WC Vendors Pro. WPUF is one of the most buggy plugins I’ve ever used. It works only after days of fidgeting with it. I’ve used it on sites where configs on one site didnt work on others. WPUF is not designed for adding products, images, or files to products. It’s designed for blog posts. One of the reasons we developed Pro is so that our members didnt have to suffer through WPUF anymore. 🙂

    Hi Jarvo,
    Thank you for answer.

I know the capabilities of WC Vendor Pro version, but I need to integrate my site with WC Bookings and it is not supported by WC Vendors Pro for now. Because of that I’m analyzing other (free) options.

Thank you again for your recommendation about Formidable Pro.

    Hi Ben,
    Thanks for your answer.

First of all, I’m wrong. I’ve posted at Pro forum and I’m using the free version of WC Vendor.

I understand your point of view, but if I have to pay $149 for the Pro version I would like to have the complete solution for my requirements (WC Bookings). I know it will be released with 1.4.0 version but I’m analyzing my possibilities right now.
    What do you recommend?

    Hi Facundo,

Remember, WC Vendors Free doesnt support bookings either. Granted vendors can add bookings, but they cant manage their calendars or anything like that. Only Pro will, and that’ll be v1.4.0 (early summer).

As for what “other” plugin to recommend, we wouldnt code WC Vendors if it wasnt the best around. We’d never be “2nd place” plugin developers. It would be fruitless. You’ve already found the best. 🙂 Product Vendors 2.0 technically does support bookings, although it’s VERY limited support, and PV2.0 only has about 2/3 of the features as WC Vendors Free does. They didnt even update PV for 2 years too. I’d be scared for anyone to buy the WooThemes version under *any* circumstances.

    Hi Ben,

Yes, I know the limitations about Product Vendor plugin and I’ve found the best here.
I think I will move forward with your free version and WPUF for now, waiting for your 1.4.0 version to have all my requirements included.

    Thank you again!

Sounds good. Migrating from WC Vendors Free + WPUF to WC Vendors Pro w/o WPUF is pretty easy. It’ll just work, you won’t have any issues and there’s no conversions to do anything once Pro is installed and WPUF is deactivated.
