    Hello,

I’ve recently purchased WC Vendors Pro and installed it, the free version was installed also, I configured pages for Pro and free versions and saved the permalink page, Yet the Vendor dashboard Front end still gives 404 not found! for products, orders, settings, rating, view store, add product pages!

Also where can I get support for Pro version, Here also?

    Thank You!

Actually, I disabled all plugins as you suggest in one of your forums here, the problem only happen when Polylang is active!

    What would you suggest?

    Thanks!

If everything works fine until Polylang is installed……………………….. Then I’d be asking them for support. 🙂

    Hello,
We do support our plugins and our users, yes! 🙂 That being said, unfortunately we cannot support other plugins. Polylang is not our plugin, and I do not know why it would have a conflict with WC Vendors Pro that would cause your page to not display properly. If you contact that plugin author, they will perhaps be able to suggest a reason for why this is occurring.

We do have shortcodes you can use here. The Directory of Vendors shortcode may be what you are seeking: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/shortcodes/

You can alter the template store-header.php to show more or less in the store header; other alterations would need to be made using the archive-product.php template in WooCommerce.. as that is the page we hook into for our vendor stores. You could create conditional display options for the vendor stores using php, as has been done in some of the themes that are specially designed to show store pages in a certain way when using WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro.

    Hi Anna,

I’ve been contacting PolyLang Support regarding the upper issue, and this is the final result from them:

We made some tests and investigations and we found out that this plugin is not completely multilingual ready. Although authors claim a WPML compatibility, we didn’t find any WPML code compatibility except a wpml-config.xml which allows to translate options (this works the same for WPML and Polylang).

According to our tests, WC vendor works with Polylang and WPML but only for the default language. To be precise you need to hide language information in the URL for the default language when using Polylang. The other languages are not detected by WC vendor.

Compared to WC vendors, it looks like WC Marketplace plugin has a better compatibility with multilingual plugins.

    Best regards,”

This what they are saying about WC-Vendors compatibility with multilingual WPML and PolyLang, would you suggest other methods to fix the problem.

I’m using Polylang + loco translate + polylang for woo commerce to translate the site staff, do I need the WC-Vendors translation files and how to install them, will it fix the problem?

    Thank you.

I can guide you to our article on language support; otherwise, I am unsure of how to work with the Polylang plugin or WPML. https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/language-support/

Here are a few forum threads that may have some info for you:

    Dear,

    Thanks for reply!

You are escaping support for the next time!

I think you are responsible of making multilingual plugin and advise solutions for this!

I purchased the plugin with hope that I’ll have a great solution as a multilingual marketplace.

    Thanks

The strange thing is dashboard pages-options works very fine for the free version for both languages but not the pro one!

No, I am not attempting to escape support.
I understand you were told something different by the plugin author, however, as far as I am aware we have worked with WPML to make sure we remain translatable. There are MANY – thousands- of marketplaces using WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro that are using a language other than English.

If you provide us with some specifics as to what exactly is not translating, we can e work with the code to ensure that it can be translated while suing WPML.

I do not know as we have worked with Polylang before, and you stated above that it was causing negative interface issues on your site(perhaps due to the permalinks being “translated”which should not be done).
So- please provide us with something to work with and if we can help you we will.

I clarified the problem, it’s not in the translation but:
    1) Vendor Dashboard pro options redirect to 404 Not Found!
    2) Upon switching to Arabic , the layout destroyed for dashboard.
    3) I can’t set the pages in the admin for both languages; because upon setting a language pages it become blank for the other language pages and vice versa.

Another thing please, I would show vendors list; I created a page for that and added the Short code [wcv_pro_vendorslist] but it shows blank page.

    Thanks

Thanks, I did this short code [wcv_vendorslist show_products=’no’] and it works now, but it shows as grid, how to show it as list like in your demo site for pro?

    Hi there,

This is a forwarded e-mail to you which is the most recent polylang reply to me _ they stated that WC Vendors support only the default language if used with PolyLang or WPML _, so they said I need to exclude the language code from the URL for the default language _ I did and the problems of 404 , blank pages … etc are fixed now for the default language only (English) _ and so WC Vendors doesn’t support other languages through PolyLang or WPML , Their e-mail below suggest you to make some sort of integration with PolyLang if you are interested.

    Hello Loa’i,

There is currently no way from your side as some development is needed to make both plugins work together.
    * Some part is already done with the file wpml-config.xml in WC Vendors (works with both WPML and Polylang), but it’s not sufficient.
    * We noticed a conflict at url level (why you can’t have the language code in the url). This conflict is specific to Polylang and does not affect WPML (which adds the language code in a different way).
    * In our tests with WPML, we noticed that it does not work in the secondary language (incorrect dashboard, errors 404…). This is expected as we did not find any WPML compatibility code. We could not test with Polylang due to the above issue, but we expect that Polylang will have the same issue once the urls are fixed.

    Thank you!

On our side, we generally add integration with 3rd party plugins based on the number of user demands. This can take time.
Could you ask WC Vendors authors if they are interested to integrate Polylang in their plugin?”

Yes please, I’m having the same issue and it’s really important this plugin to work with Polylang since more and more people are using it over WPML

    Hi there,

I recently made a dispute on you on PayPal; you escalated it to a claim and the result is i was refunded my money; my aim wasn’t this of making the dispute, and I don’t want to use your plugin for free, the issue is that truly your plugin is not supporting polylang and I don’t know how other users may translate your plugin, and unfortunately you don’t provide the efficient support for this issue, May I ask if you can update your plugin to be compatible with polylang so I can refund you your money?

    Thanks
