    Hi everybody,

i am looking for a theme to begin my web proyect. In Themeforest i have founded some themes that appear to be integrated with Wc Vendor:

Marketica, Baggies, Pasar, Lecrafts, Handy wp…

I wonder if someone have checked some of this themes. I want to know if this themes runs properly with wc vendors.

Anyway, do you know some theme that works fine? Any recommendation?

    David.

You might want to read this: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/best-wordpress-theme-for-multi-vendor-in-everyones-opinion/

Otherwise, I think most themes work ok. There are like a billion themes… Any properly integrated woocommerce theme (as in they actually fully integrated, not just hack-styled) should do ok. Any special styling in those themes is not really going to be too relevant with the new WC Vendors Pro- and not needed anyway… IMO. It looks like they have some minimal styling specific to WC Vendors (free).

Any glitches that the devs are finding with Pro they are working on right now.

Try to go with a theme that does not have a ton of bloat and added features that you do not need. Extra js and bells and whistles is not always the best answer…. if you keep it as simple as possible it is MUCH easier to find what may or may not be causing any conflicts with WC Vendors- ir anything else for that matter. I have found that it is usually NOT Wc Vendors that is an issue if I ever have one. It is usually some Yith plugin or a caching plugin.

These are the ones that I know work with WC Vendors FREE. I’m not sure about Pro yet, as I’m just working on Pro today with my own site.

http://themeforest.net/item/natural-shop-responsive-woocommerce-theme/11047108 non-bloated, nice easy theme to work with.
http://themeforest.net/item/flatsome-responsive-woocommerce-theme/5484319 heavy theme that has a lot of of features & good woocommerce integration. If you scale it down and only keep what you need, its not so bloated.
http://themeforest.net/item/business-essentials-2-email-template/7551055 clean theme. Very easy to modify & customize.
http://themeforest.net/item/x-the-theme/5871901 This theme is really large & heavy— but again, you can scale it down. So many options…. knowledgeable designers and helpful. Just note that this is a very heavy theme if you do not eliminate what you do not need.
http://themeforest.net/item/kleo-next-level-wordpress-theme/6776630 another huge theme- but it has great buddypress options and is really quite easy to customize and scale down if needed. Great help.
http://themeforest.net/item/klein-a-nittygritty-community-theme/5418518 Good buddypress again. Easy to use theme.

    Any Woo Themes themes.

The themes that use the woocommerce.php hack will not work properly with WC Vendors Free. However, WC Vendors Pro, ALL WooCommerce themes will work, even if the theme author sucks and used the woocommerce.php hack. We’ve completely rewritten how the Vendor stores are displayed and made them into a custom post type with our own templating for Pro.

Thanks you very much Anna and Ben.

i have spend some month looking for a theme customized for wc vendors because i thought that it was necessary. I thought that with this kind of themes if something doesnt works or display properly they can support me. I have asked about compatibility to others developers in Themeforest which themes doesnt have Wc vendor integration and they answered to me that could be possible that modifications or new code is needed so they dont support 3rd party plugins integration. This is the reason for i have been looking for this kind of themes. What a pitty!!

i am to see all theme you proposed me. Thanks!!

That’s where I think you might be confused. Themes do not need to Integrate with WC Vendors. Themes integrate with WooCommerce. And WC Vendors integrates with WooCommerce. As long as your theme is 100% WooCommerce compatible, WC Vendors *WILL* work with it. You dont need a special “WC Vendors Compatible theme”, you need a WooCommerce theme, nothing more. 🙂

Yes,of course. I am confused. But because i dont know why some developers offer theirs themes as compatibles with some plugins. In this case they offer themes customized to use wc vendors.

I understood that this developers are working to theirs themes work properly with wc vendors, something like a plug and play, so you dont have to be worried about modify code or styling, so i imagined that if i have problems they can help to me to resolve them.i dont see other differences.

But with your comment i am looking for others themes with better features.

All because i am not a pro only an user…

    Thanks for all Ben!!

ah, so if i find a template that works with woocommerce, i can get the wc vendors pro version to work with it, the pro won’t have the hack issue

wow, what a relief, just spent hours looking at templates, reading threads, etc, and then came across this key distinction of wc vendors free vs pro

big big weight off my shoulders

    okay, pro it is

Yup, Pro removes that limitation because the Vendor Stores are a custom post type. There’s no other way to do it so that it would work with the woocommerce.php file. Since Vendor Stores are a Pro feature, not a Free feature, you’d certainly need Pro if your theme has a woocommerce.php file in it. Kinda shitty for the theme developers to use that hack, though. They should properly template out all of WooCommerce otherwise they are only 80% compatible (if that).

When Pro 1.2.0 is released in about 2 hours, all themes should work 100%. 🙂

Nice one Ben. I’m going to buy Pro later on as I’ve looked around at the other multi vendor plugins and they are a) crap and b) support is extra crap.
