NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

    Horray! You’re here. Which means you have questions, or are doing research on the plugin. This post is to quickly outline what we can do and what we offer here.

    This plugin is a fork of Product Vendor after Matt abandoned it in early 2014. This fork is lawful under the license distributed with the paid version of the plugin.

    If you have any questions, concerns, comments, feature suggestions, bug reports, please post them here. Eventually we’ll make subforums for these specifically if the amount of threads warrants it. For now since we’re small, one general area will suffice.

    Forum rules:
    – Use the search box to see if your question has been answered already. Also, read the Knowledgebase documentation, too.
    – Be courteous
    – Be helpful
    – When entering html/php code in posts, please click the “code” tag at the top of the visual editor here that way it is formatted correctly and others can copy/paste it easier.
    – Please refrain from sending anyone other than Jamie or Ben your WordPress Administrator credentials. The best practice is to add another administrator account temporarily if we need access to inspect/fix your issue and then remove it when we are done. You should always keep your Administrator account to yourself.

    Welcome Friends!

    Ben and myself will continue to provide support like we have. If it’s a code related question/help we will convert them to knowledge base articles so that others can also benefit from the hive knowledge.

    We are currently trying to work out how we can help with regards to direct support/helping you fix something on your site via dashboard help. We will update you on what we’ll be doing there.

    Also when using the forum, please try and use the tags below as it’ll help others finding things relevant. Tags that I would suggest is ‘frontend’ ‘dashboard’ ‘customization’ try and make it relevant to the area of support you’re asking for.

    Bonjour Aill3urs. 🙂 The first version of the plugin will be out very soon. Jamie is finishing up with new shortcodes and widgets for it and there’s a few easy-to-fix bugs to squash then it’ll be released. It will be a very easy upgrade for anyone already using Product Vendor to switch to WC Vendors.

    Hello, I am planning to purchase WC vendors pro.
    I like the plugin and its features. Great work!

    However I need some help. I am planning to use it in making a vendor digital marketplace like inkydeals. I want to have a few modifications like I want to remove coupons tab from vendor dashboard, removing sale price entry from add product page, removing ratings from vendor dashboard, allow vendors to select only one category on add product page, etc.

    All I want is to eliminate a few functions.
    Will the WC Pro support team help me with these(when I purchase pro)???
    Will the support be free???

    Are there any coupons on purchasing wc vendors pro?

    Pro can do everything you’ve requested here, and with your purchase, does indeed come support! 🙂

    There are no coupons to purchase Pro, it’s already discounted 33% right now. After December 1st the price will be $149. So get it before then and save automatically! 🙂




    Hi there , just purchased plugin today!! im a little stuck tho;)

    How can I add the short description field to the ADD Product page and also have the add media button in this filed, basically the same as when using WC Vendors.

    My vendors need to be able to upload a short audio preview.

    Hi oluwasola,

    You would probably want to edit the add/edit product template form to add any additional fields or upload info. This is up to you to do, so be PHP prepared! 🙂




    Hi ben thanks for the speedy response.
    But could you tell me where these files are located???

    I know all ready that the add/edit product template needs to be configured and I can handle placing the code in that file.

    but how have you removed the add media and short description fields? And what files do i need to be looking at to put those fields back???

    Sure, go to the KnowledgeBase (link at the top of the site) and click “WC Vendors Pro Setup Guide”. From there, at the bottom, is a description of all the templates. Read the whole page first! 🙂 Always read the docs. Feel free to start a new support thread when you’re ready.
