    Hi,

On another support thread, we’ve been told not to trash/remove the dashboard pages for the non-pro plugin. (You re-enabled them in fact, I work on the HelloAnd site you helped with last week).

Could I ask why this is? They don’t appear to offer any functionality that the pro version doesn’t include and obviously the pro stuff is then missing?

End result is they are a distraction/source of confusion for users as there are two dashboards/settings pages – which was why we disabled them. Is there a downside to disabling them, something I’m missing as to why they have to stay? Do you have a suggestion/recommendation as to how to set this up? Having both isn’t really an option we are happy with.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Just because a page exists, doesnt mean you need a menu item for it on the front end. 😉 Just remove your front end links to the old vendor dashboard, and add your menu links to the Pro Dashboard.

The reason they need to be set, is because if the page is not set, you’ll have redirect loop problems. You must always have a page set in options for WordPress.

    Cheers

    Ben
