I downloaded the woocommerce storefront theme. Is the only one I know. I was trying WC Vendors free before using the storefront theme. I bought their Storefront powerpack plugin to edit the theme. Powerpack works fine without WC Vendor installed and activated. If I deactivate, powerpack works. I like WC Vendors and I’m considering the Pro because of the vendors own shops feature. Need to know ASAP if WC vendors wont work with Powerpack to make a decision. I have like 10 days to get refund from powerpack plugin or settle for their Marketplace plugin. What other shopping cart themes are available to use with woocommerce and WC vendors? I need to know if I will have to settle for WC marketplace plugin (looks basic compared to your WC Vendors)) Pls ASAP

    Manuel,
Could you be a bit more specific about what is not working with the Storefront Powerpack? I currently have this installed on my dev site with WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and the Storefornt theme (of course) and it is working fine, as far as I can tell.
Please give me a few more specifics.
Also, please share your WooCommerce System Status with your reply (wp admin > woocommerce > system status > get system report)

Hello. When I edit thru (appearance-customize), either regular customizing or using powerpack [using powerpack I see the changes take place in the right page image in customizing page], when I click ‘save & publish’ it never saves the changes. I deactivate the WC Vendors plugin and it saves changes OK. Let me know if you would like a temporary user(admin) account to see for yourself. Attached 6 images of all system status. PLS. ASAP

    Hello, Manuel:
Thank you for the description and your system status.
I tested again on two different websites of mine- both with WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and the Storefront theme, along with Storefornt Powerpack.
    (great tool, by the way…! 🙂 )

This did not occur. The changes I applied in Powerpack were saved to my Storefront theme.

So- we do need to look at what else you have going on to try and isolate this. I think it is your PHP version. Nevertheless– let’s rule out other things first:
    1. Please deactivate all plugins (even the other storefront customize plugins) except WooCommerce, Storefront Powerpack, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro. Test again now- see if you changes apply.

    2. If so- it is another plugin causing this.

    3. If not— then I STRONGLY suspect that your old version of PHP is the issue. Please EMPLORE your host to upgrade to at least 5.6
If they are unwilling or unable to do so, FIND A NEW HOST. That is a wicked old version of PHP. You’ll likely experience more issues int he future, especially as your marketplace grows and especially with plugin updates (WooCommerce! Us!). I am sorry to say that PHP version is just not sufficient, or not going to be sufficient for much longer 🙁 .Not to mention there are security issues with running and older version of PHP.

Deactivated all plugins except woo, wcven and powerpack. You are right they are working together OK. Suppose I will start activating one at a time to see which causes the problem. Anyway reply me to know its the right course of action. I will demand a change of PHP with the host service (GoDaddy). I’m serious about this store and I’m considering hosting with you guys, the other host I will consider is GoDaddy WP hosting account (it’s somewhat cheaper).

    Manuel,
Yes- that’d be the best way to isolate which plugin is causing the conflict. Test after activating each one, and see which one is the culprit. Fortunately, you don’t have that many. 😉
I am glad that you have found that WC Vendors Pro can be used with the Powerpack.

It surprises me that GoDaddy uses such an outdated PHP version.
If you want to talk to Ben about our hosting, let me know and I will have him chime in here and get in touch with you.

The bad conflicting plugin is YITH WooCommerce Recover Abandoned Cart. Their YITH product Bundles plugin is OK, Thanks to GOD, I need this one. My website is http://www.prartesano.com/pram/. Is in this folder while trying woocommerce. http://www.prartesano.com is my original store but ‘thecartpress’ shopping cart misses features I need and marketplace plugin $99 performed short too. Site is going to the root domain. I want to consider hosting and WC Vendors pro but first I need the artisans community to show interest and join as Marketplace Vendors. But I will check info now. By the way I found a site with same scope as me Puerto Rico and Latin Artisans, I read the browser source document and saw some js woocommerce code so I suppose is with Woocommerce. Here is were I see store pages for the artisans and their own store feature. It is http://www.artisanisla.com/. Can you know if it is using WC Vendors Pro?

    Manuel,
Glad you found the plugin that was causing the issue- and that it was not one that was integral to your site. There is probably some js script that is not working correctly.
I understand- as your site grows, and your need for hosting requires you to look into upgrading, let us know and we will be glad to speak with you about our hosting.

Yes- that site is using WC Vendors Pro 🙂
