    Hi Guys

Has WC been tested with version 4 of wordpress? Not upgrading until we get the green light.

You are safe to upgrade to WordPress 4.0.

Now, as a general warning — Just because WC Vendors is safe to go to WordPress 4.0 — doesnt mean the rest of the plugins on your site are. 🙂 I find it best to wait a week after a new WordPress version comes out, because then all the other plugin authors have time to have OTHER people report bugs in their plugins, and push fixes for them. 🙂 Food for thought, at least for production websites. 🙂

Good advice to wait, Ben! I got excited and upgraded my site (now WCVendors one, another one) to 4.0 almost as soon as it was released, and the next thing I knew I couldn’t add images to posts and my media page was totally blank. Fixed now but meant deactivating all my plugins and re-activating them etc. Was just a hassle. Will definitely be waiting a week until I upgrade on my other sites. But good to know WCVendors is ready for 4.0.

That sounds like happy times, dymockpoet. 🙂 Upgrading WordPress before plugins are upgraded makes for fun late nights with guaranteed midnight snacks! 🙂
