Ben LumleyParticipant
Any further on this for us?
We are wondering whether you agree that this is a bug, or whether we’ve got something wrong elsewhere? And if so – does this seem a sensible fix?
Ben LumleyParticipantGlad it helped.
Ben LumleyParticipant@wcvendors – whilst not an issue for us, your [wcv_vendorslist] shortcode would continue to use the avatar even if pro is installed – as per templates/front/vendor-list.php – pro doesn’t appear to override this?
We have a custom version of the file in the theme, hence it being our problem this time around.
Guess other users might not and would benefit from either a fix or if it’s intentional perhaps a clarification on how things should work?
Ben LumleyParticipantThese are all to do with the theme we are using rather than WCV.
The theme has been developed before pro was released and not updated to add support – it uses avatars in some places rather than the banner/icon.
@helloand – we will resolve this for you@wcv – stand down
Ben LumleyParticipantJust replying from my account so I can get e-mail notifications, forgot I was logged into the client account.
Ben LumleyParticipantHi Ben,
I am one of the team that works on the website – thanks for your feedback.
The problem turned out to be the WP User Avatars plugin, it seems to interfere with the upload process somehow – guess it has something hooked/filtered. As per thread elsewhere here, I’ve disabled it as Pro provides the functionality we were using it for.
