Apologies for not replying to this thread sooner – been absolutely snowed and working on another project since I posted this originally.

Anyway – the bug described above by Jan-Philipp in the Nov 7th post above is precisely what I’m seeing, so if you can reproduce it, then that’s what I see too.

In other words – emails sends out, but link does not change.

    Hi Jamie,
Ah yes – I see that – a little truck icon. Nice.
So when the entire is order is shipped, as Shop Mngr, I can mark the order as ‘complete’? What happens then regarding automatic emails etc, please?

Hi – ah, ok. But then how does the Shop Manager know the order has gone out?
And when the shop manager does change the order to complete, will another email issue to the buyer?
    Thanks,

Fixed. Conflict issue with main Paypal address (client had changed main PayPal email without telling me!) and email set in WooCommerce settings. Causes this error.
Thanks for all your help on this though Ben. Got me to where I needed to be 🙂

Money is with Paypal though – it’s in there. So why would order show as ‘on hold’? Never seen that before with WooCommerce tbh.

That didn’t happen… order got marked as ‘on hold’…? PayPal setting wrong or something?

    So, is the process:
    1. Order is placed
    2. Notification sent to shop manager
    3. Shop manager logs in and marks as ‘Processing’, this triggers an email to the Vendor?
I’m a bit confused… I marked as processing, then realised I hadn’t set the Processing Order notification, so put processing order back on hold and set notification, then marked as processing again. Didn’t get a vendor email notification… (possibly no surprise after all that!)
    Thanks!

Processing Order email notification is not currently enabled… does that matter for this?

Live site with live gateway – buying through Paypal. I place order, pay for it, get the relevant confirmation from Paypal and then main email gets a new order notice but not vendor themselves.

    Hi Ben,

Progress!!! Am getting an automatic email now upon pending vendor approval (through doing it your way – described above).

BUT, the Vendor is still not getting an email about a new order. It only goes to the main notification email. I didn’t quite understand what you meant about setting the order bit above…?

Also, despite receiving an email notification, when I log in as the Shop Manager, I don’t see any pending orders (no little numerical notice in a circle like you usually see with WooCommerce). When I click in to ‘WooCommerce > Orders’, they are sitting there shown as ‘On Hold’…

Thanks for the advice Ben. Am on it with the theme developers. They’re actually being really helpful 🙂

No emails apart from first one when new user/vendor registers/applies seem to be going out…

Notify vendor is enabled… and email addresses are not generic domains like yahoo, google… have tried a few.

Vendor is not getting an email when I approve and change the role to vendor and they didn’t get one about a product order either.

Thanks for the super-quick response Jamie. I just wondered if it had to be an Admin level user to work the Vendors functionality.

I’ve used this plugin on another site so may give that a go: Admin Menu Editor Pro.

It’s allowed me to hide the bits I need while showing the bits I want on view so far… just gotta test the functionality now…
