    Hi Anna,
have you done any progress on this issue with Paypal and the shipping taxes ?

    Eric

As per what I understand… based on some calculation… the Shipping Tax is given to me (Le-RIME) rather than the vendor.

    1.24$ = (5$ x 10%) + (4.95$ X 14.975%)

The 14.975% is the taxe in Quebec Canada… I know… this is really strange 🙂

So, what is set wrong in the system so that the shipping tax is given to Le-RIME ?

(PLEASE SEE PREVIOUS RESPONSE IN CASE YOU GET THIS ONE FIRST)

    Hi Anna,
I have just upgraded to WooCommerce Version 2.6.13, WC Vendors Version 1.9.8 and Vendors Pro Version 1.3.7 and i still face the same issue.

I have also added a Shipping Class as I had none before and that this not help 🙁

To reproduce the problem, it is very simple. I only have to make an order for 10 items of the same product. (It does not have to be 10, as long as it is more than 1 item)

And then, when I proceed to payment via Paypal, the vendor gets 90% of the cost of the product (the commission is set to 10%) + the taxes associated with the 10 items of the product + the shipping cost + taxe of ONLY 1 item

And as the store owner, I get 10% of the product cost + 9 times the shipping cost + taxes which is NOT normal.

How to make sure the shipping cost (taxes included) is all assigned to the vendor no matter how many items are purchased ?

Am I missing a special configuration somewhere ?

    Thanks for your help,
    Eric

I have the exact same problem… and this issue is only reproducible if there is NO TAX collected on the product. In that case, the shipping tax is NOT given to the vendor.

I am running Version 1.9.6 of WC Vendor and Version 1.3.7 of Vendors Pro

Please help as this is creating a lot of confusion and frustration with my vendors.

Now you are talking Anna… thanks a lot, I am anxious to see what will be in Pro v1.4.0.

When is this new version planned to be available in beta testing or in Production ?

    Thanks Anna,
That would have been nice to also have a way to better handle the shipping cost for the same product. I am not sure if MAX shipping cost would do the job as normally, the cost for shipping increase if we have more similar items or more items from the same vendor but it does not necessarily double if we buy two items.

Here is a suggestion I have received from one of my vendor.
He wants to charge 10$ for shipping no matter the number of items ordered but have the handling fee (2$ per example) to be charged per item.

    So, if someone ordered 5 similar items, he will be charged (10$ + ( 5 x 2$ )), so 20$.

I am open to new idea but definitely, to charge 10$ “per items” is not acceptable… you can imagine.

    Hi Anna,
so, you are telling me that there is no way then to no overcharge the client if this last one is ordering more than one item of the same product ?

    Hi Anna,
I am using version 1.3.7 and I seem to have the same issue as Arnaud.

I have enabled the option “Charge once for national shipping, even if more than one is purchased” and that does not seem to make any difference in the calculation of the shipping cost if more than one product is being ordered for the same product.

Is this an known bug ?

By the way, I am using the Country Table Rate.

    Hi Ben,
That solve the issue for the Vendor Shop but now… my Home page shows all products instead of Categories.

Is there a way to have the Home Page with Categories and the Vendor Shop by product ?

    Hi Matt and Jamie,
I have just upgraded too and I get all emails correctly !

Although, in the email sent to the Vendor, even if I have enabled the option to transfer the Tax to the Vendor, it is not included in the email. But in the report, under the Commission that is due, it is included.

So, it appears that it is working but it is just missing in the email template that is generated.

Jamie, DO YOU WANT ME TO CREATE ANOTHER TICKET FOR THAT ISSUE ?

    Hi Jamie,
welcome back… I hope you are getting better !

I have not tried your last fixed yet but I was wondering what is the expect delivery date for the version 1.7.2 ? If it is before the end of this week… I will wait for it otherwise, I will move on with your current fix.

    Take care,

    Hu Ben,
thanks for the follow up. Jamie’s first priority is to care of himself… it is really important.

I haven’t tried Matt fix yet, but I will for sure in the next 2 days. Thanks Matt for the temporary fix.

And Jamie… I am glad that you are back home… hoping that it will turn well for you.

    Hi Matt,
great that you could fix this by yourself… but I am surprised that the plugin provider has not fixed that yet since it is probably blocking many more people than you and I.

Since I really need a fix sooner than later, I will port your change to the code but I will not downgrade. Good chance that it is the same code anyway.

    Big thanks to you Matt.
I will stay tune for the real fix.

    Hi Matt and Jamie,

I am planning to go live next week but without this fix, I will not be able to.

    After disabling Tax… it works.

I have tried different tax rates… always the same result.
At one point, I thought that was a result of my tax rate of 14.975% but even if I set it to 15%, it failed.

Anyway… hoping that you will have a sulution 🙂

    Hi Matt and Jamie,
I have the same error 🙁
I have been testing for the last 3 hours and disregard of what I modify in the Paypal Sandbox setting or WC Vendor setting, I get teh same error.

I am using the version 1,7,1 of WC Vendor, the version 2.3.8 of WooCommerce and the version 4.2 of WordPress.

Thanks to keep me up to date.
    Eric
