    Anna hello:

Has this issue been documented internally as a “bug” ?

Is it possible to receive a quick pointer to the PHP file this is coming from? (will try to fix/comment out)

Have had to disable 1.9.9. plugin for now.. don’t want google picking up all these modified META’s

    thanks, GARRY

    Anna hello again?

Can you please assist in identifying the offending code/file so we can comment this out? or where we can find previous version to revert to?

Do not wish Google crawler to see that we have 2,000+ products with new URLs !!

    Anna hello:

thanks for the quick response. How do we revert meanwhile back to v1.9.8 ?

I could not find the 1.9.8 ZIP file on github?

It appears that this new 1.9.9 “feature” is what is causing this?

Added: Vendor shop name to the tag on products archive page

yes… exact same problem as veracart

yes – I am using cloudflare

    my screenshot/video here
    [video src="http://lasvegas100.net/vendors.mp4" /]

I have 500+ vendors, all with email addresses

I do NOT think this has *anything* to do with CDN

I have browsed my database with phpmyadmin to see if any garbage is in my user/vendor fields, could not see, looks OK (I did do some bulk user/vendor imports).

Appears like some kind of memory leak/overlap?

I am using an AMR-USER plugin

I have disabled wcvendors pro, this problem occurs in wcvendors free

Jamie / Anna hello from California:

Still have not managed to debug this strange wcvendors behavior.

I have disable pro, and all other plugins.

Latest version of WP, Woo, Storefront theme.

Wierd PHP code appears in vendors drop down – I have uploaded a screen grab video for you here:

    [video src="http://lasvegas100.net/vendors.mp4" /]

As you will see, I can access the vendors, after skipping the garbage code… very strange

I have browsed my database with phpmyadmin to see if any garbage is in my user/vendor fields, could not see, looks OK (I did do some bulk user/vendor imports).

Appears like some kind of memory leak/overlap?

Any ideas, pointers? – thanks, Garry

p.s. unrelated to this, would be nice to add a SHOWCASE section to your website, provides an opportunity to see uses/application of the (great) plugin.

Do you have a work-around for notifying the Vendor when a coupon is used so that they are not wondering why their payment does not match their shop order?

    @thrivinglocally
    hello:

No, this is the problem I am having. Vendor does not see the coupon-applied price. Only the customer and store admin see this data on the invoice and order, and email. My customer and admin receive confirmation emails showing the coupon applied, but vendor email shows full price, no coupon. Have yet to solve this problem, which explains why I am following this forum….

Allan hi – I am doing this on my site. You create an automatic global coupon with a 70% discount.

So the customer pays 30% (deposit) on the site, and the order is complete. He owes 70% to the Vendor.

You need to setup the labels so instead of “discount” it reads “pay vendor in person”, etc.

This plugin will also do the job

    Anna , Craig hello:

Just to add my 2 cents… I use the plugin WooCommerce Extended Coupon https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-auto-added-coupons/
to create site-wide automatic coupons (applied to ALL Vendors)

The discounted price is applied correctly in the User invoice, Woo Admin data, but NOT in Vendor data. The Vendor does not see the coupon applied price. The User and Admin do.

Ben, guys, hi… been following this tread…

my 2 cents on this…. yes, you CAN geo/map your vendors and products and customers, and search, filter, etc.

I accomplished this with wc-vendors, geomywp, allimport (paid version)…. it took me close to 1 year of work… I started this thread on
September 16, 2015 after already a few months of work.

There is no quick fix, and as with most high end customisations… requires PHP/CSS and studying the related tables and where the data is stored (Ben, I wish you would standardise on either pv_ or wc_ )

After messing about on codeable.io trying to hire someone, ended up doing it myself (paid $50 for my Oreilly PHP book)

    But yes, can be accomplished!

    .. Ben, it’s 110 degrees today in Los Angeles…

Brian hi – what do you want to GEO tag ? your products or your vendors, or both?

for the products, you need to enter GEO info using this nice free plugin

for the vendors (users) you need to purchase their $38 addon
    https://geomywp.com/add-ons/wp-users-geo-location/

this is the only solution I could find, that does not require any custom programming – it does the job

oops… This obviously does *not* need to appear on the vendor’s virtual and downloadable products.

Ben hi – thanks for this

It was the VENDOR user data and meta data that I am looking to create/upload. products come next.

Was going to try this plugin in order to export 1 sample vendor, to try to catch all the wc-vendor fields I need to populate in my CSV import file.

… BTW do I get a free t-shirt? 🙂 (not that you needed my plug – see attached)

also while I have you on this Private Reply… have you thought of creating a competitive feature chart between wc-vendors and woothemes product-vendors ?

They just announced a new version.

I purchased an earlier version of it prior to discovering wc-vendors. Was a piece of rubbish…

    Hi, regarding sold by::

I am experiencing exact same “sold by::” (little) issue

Can seem to find where to fix this in the code… class “variation-Soldby” ?

Was nice to see in FREE v1.8.6 the added feature to change this label, but it does not recognize trailing spaces, and does not seem to carry across to the order confirmation screen, or email confirmations… still get SOLD BY on the these.. even though I changed the label in Settings (hard-coded in?).

p.s. I also get a SHIPPING entry on my order email confirmations, event though all products are downloadable/virtual products and I have all Woo shipping disabled.

    Jamie hello:

thanks for response, yes, working a lot of the above-mentioned out the hard way… have decided to stick with FREE for now, will patiently wait for PRO v2.0

    — which brings me to (a last) query…. I have been unable to block the VISIBILITY of my standard sidebar Widgets (e.g. LAYERED NAVIGATION) on my site.com/vendors/vendorname Vendor Store pages.

Have tried to block using standard wordpress frontend- by filtering by Page, Taxonomy, Role, Author, etc. — but to no avail.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks, GARRY – Los Angeles (and Melbourne VIC)

Ben hi – thanks for (as usual) lightning fast response… not sure if I explained myself well enough.. VENDOR fields (Store name, commission, etc.) appear on my EDIT USER screen, for USERS that are customers, subscribers, etc. — i.e. they are not signed up as VENDORS. Had expected to see these fields only on my VENDOR type users?

Ben hi, thanks for the reply – your support level is always impressive!

I don’t see where I can upload an image to this post…

anyway… I am now looking at example http://dev.wcvendors.com/vendor_stores/vendor1/

… I now see that part of my problem may be not setting a vendor banner image…I am relying on an image that was embedded in the vendor post body (from the free version)

Where you display the 1-line Welcome to my store! – I can achieve max 3 line display of text… where is the full text of this vendor store description to display? In the free version it displays in full, upon clicking vendor name, and vendor-info tab.

    thanks, GARRY

Ben hi – thanks for the speedy response.

Can you please try editing an existing Vendor Settings, and then saving? this is when my error occurs… running on a Vanilla WooCommerce theme.. no custom mod’s.

will solve issue, sooner or later…

(p.s. me new to WP world, came from Drupal, Magento etc. — looking for small company to take on our front end work, some custom back end. any recommendations are welcome.)

Hi – I’m back for some more fun.

This (above) error message continues even though **everything else** disabled?

    occurs from: wp-admin/admin.php?page=wcv-vendor-shopsettings

    running just vanilla:
    ———————————————–
    WP 4.3.1

    Active Plugins (2)
WC Vendors by WC Vendors – 1.7.8
    WooCommerce by WooThemes – 2.4.7

    Theme woothemes.com Storefront 1.5.1

    strange…

    no else running into this?

Could not GEO tag each vendor, but did so for their respective products.
