The plugins I’d really like to be able to keep If they don’t jack things up are the Favorites plugin, Yith Wish List and Yith Gift Cards, popup maker, and turbo widgets if possible. But you said to only use authors which are reputable, I tried to look at reviews and how many installs of the plugin they had to gauge trustworthiness.

    Cpanel is located at:
    GypsySpoonful.xyz/cpanel
    login: gypsyspoonful
    password: Zu43aRT@#

It will give you a SSL error. Click proceed , the error will go away when my ssl cert is installed

I believe you may have your geo-locate box checked (and woo commerce is automatically detecting the customer’s location)? Not sure, just trying to help. πŸ™‚

Thanks for all of your help, my domain is through go daddy, but a friend of a friend has the server.
I have my c-panel credentials if you need them to do the install…or do you need more than that? server info, I don’t have any of that but can probably get them from him.

I’m sorry, I don’t skype. I am so sorry for all of these issues. I didn’t do the initial install, nor the re-install , the guy who has the server did them for me. I only know enough to be dangerous, lol.
I will do whatever I need to do to get this fixed. Do you need a report of the current system status? or my c-panel info?

These are a current list of issues:
Only sometimes can we upload images from the pro dashboard
Unable to save changes after uploading a store icon or banner
Unable to save changes after changing store name and description

I am starting to wonder if WCV pro is not for us. there are so many problems happening. I’ve followed all of the directions you’ve given me. We’ve even gone so far as reboot the server, do a fresh install of the entire site, and even now, problems. You’ve been courteous and nice, but I am at a loss here. I cant use this website, I can’t launch, there are so many people’s businesses hinging on this. :(d please help me.

Thank you so much to you, Jamie and Ben!
I set every page to full width and got rid of the widgets and sidebar.
This fixed the photo upload problem.
However, When I click to change the store name and description on the settings page, I still get the “Please Enter URL” message when “save changes” is clicked.

I am going to stay with storefront theme, and everything as is, except for possibly adding buddypress for the future. I will have to educate myself on how to use a child theme so I don’t lose the modifications I’ve made, don’t know how to do that yet, but will learn.

While we’re waiting to fix that issue, I have a question about buddypress, is it compatible with WC Vendors Pro? I’d like to add it but am terrified at this point to add anything more that might potentially cause a conflict. Would it work ok with storefront?
(if you say it would be fine, then I’ll wait until this issue is fixed and install it later) Thanks! πŸ™‚

Hey Anna, thanks for all of your help.
So even though I have now gone back to Storefront, and it worked for a short period of time… having the same issues today now πŸ™ Vendors can not upload photos, it bounces them back up to the top of the add a product order from when they click on either to add the featured photo or gallery photos. This is happening in EVERY type of browser… What now? I am so confused & frustrated. There is no reason at this point for this to be happening.
I’ve disabled all plugins, am using storefront, … any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I’ll send my system status report in a private reply below as well as my login/password info for admin, in case you need it.
    Thanks!!

Also, I forgot to add, another problem, when vendors type in their shop description, and click “save” it doesn’t save either… you click the button and nothing happens. Can not upload shop banner… basically none of the buttons work. :/

Yes, I deactivated all of the other plugins except woo commerce, wc vendors and wc vendors pro and it still happens. No there is no error messages, just simply takes them back up to the top of the page.

It seems to have worked, you’re my hero!! πŸ™‚ thank you!! On another note, when the vendors click to add pictures to their products, it bumps them back up to the top of the listing, and will not allow any photos to be uploaded. (this is the original issue I was trying to de-bug when the dashboards disappeared on us)

If it helps, when I load the page where the dashboard is supposed to be, sometimes, it shows a QUICK FLASH (like a milisecond) of the dashboard tabs, and then it disappears.

    Thank you.

WHERE did that image come from? Did a vendor upload it? DId you set a default banner image? Perhaps you should check. You can set a default banner in WC Vendors Pro. Find it in the options, and make sure it’s set to a real image not a broken image.

Yes, it was a default banner image I uploaded and then deleted in the process of trying to debug.
I re-uploaded it, and as you can see in the screen shot, it’s still “covered”. Vendor uploaded banners, and my default banner all appear like like this. (screen shot #1)

Also, one other question, if I may?
when assigning roles, “vendor” appears twice , I thought it was because both free + pro are running? (one for free, one for pro??) should only one vendor box be shown? is this standard? or could this be causing my issue? (see screen shot #2)

thank you so very much for your help!!

And that was NOT my question. My question is: Do I deactivate Woo Commerce MARKETPLACE? NOT WC Vendors.
Does Vendors take the place of Marketplace all together is my first question. If you would have read it.
