1) you are right there was a filter that was causing that problem. It was the code you had provided to rename the ‘Product Description’ in my older posts. https://gist.github.com/bentasm1/60024c8381f110baaf5f#file-functions-php.Can you tell me how do i rename the ‘Product Name’ and ‘Product Description’ and ‘Product Short Description’ now?

KritiKritiParticipant1a) Saving draft : When a vendor adds a product with all the information and then saves it as a draft, the product long and short description are not getting stored when the vendor edits that product draft.
b) Submitting Product : a vendor submits a product with all the information
but Product long and short Description are not being stored/submitted.2) I want to remove/disable Preview Product as highlighted in screenshot1 and View as highlighted in Screenshot2 for the vendors.

Bumping this one as the Product description and Product Short description are still not getting stored in pro dashboard for the vendors after saving the draft when the vendor tries to edit the product as well as when vendor edits the product after submitting it for the review after the pro version update 1.2.3 like you had mentioned above. Any Idea?
Also for the Preview/ View product, how do i remove that filter so vendors cannot see it?

KritiParticipantI also noticed that the vendors cannot delete the media they had uploaded. Is it also the meta editing security issue you had mentioned above?
Also the close media panel and deselect are not being displayed properly for the vendors as shown in screenshot. Any suggestions how to fix that?

KritiParticipant4) Another thing I noticed that if i mark the order shipped on pro dashboard nothing happens. Yesterday before upgrading to 1.1.1 it was marking as shipped but today it stopped working.Also i added tracking details and order note i get the message customer will be notified. However it doesn’t send any email to the customer neither for shipping nor for tracking details or order notes even though it is enabled in WooCommerce settings.
The email problem seems to be with wc-vendors and works for other WooCommerce emails like i had posted on the other forum https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/not-notifying-vendors/#post-16439.KritiParticipantSo i was testing and it does send the vendor pending email. On approval it is still sending vendor application pending instead of application approval. For new order placed, the vendor is not receiving email at all. Other WooCommerce emails are working normally.
I contacted the webhost to see if mailserver had problems and they couldn’t identify. Shall i give the details and if you could look into it?Thanks,

KritiParticipantLike you mentioned, I am using email [email protected] to actually send mail with WooCommerce. All other mails including vendor pending application , I am receiving them normally, it’s just with order emails to vendors and vendor application approval emails i am not getting.

What about the header of my website being blank for the pro dashboard pages? I am not able to figure out why is it so? Can you tell me how do i fix that?
KritiParticipantSo I am editing the Linked products code on add/edit product template as i want to remove that for the vendors. I am able to hide everything but the “Linked Products” tab stays there and is non clickable. How do I remove the tab?
Another thing I noticed is that for the Pro dashboard pages my header is blank white but it works fine for other pages as shown on screenshot. Any idea?

Thank you so much for your response. I read the articles you mentioned and tried playing around the template files but I couldn’t change the names or wordings which will be displayed to the vendor.
I want to change the word “Product description” on the add/edit product page of for Vendors as shown on screenshot.
I also want to change the word “Commission” to something like “Payment” or “Total Amount” for the vendors as i will be getting commission and they will be getting the major part of payment.
I am having hard time figuring this out or probably i am missing something here. Any suggestions?

What about the store address fields on the Vendor application not getting saved for the users backend when i approve the vendor application.
I also need to add few fields on the Vendor application form such as EIN number, Company Name and companyβs description which are vital before approving the application. I see that the template vendor-signup-form.php needs to be edited but i am not sure how to add and how will those fields be saved.
