Hello,
The system has been working correctly this entire time, I just wasn’t seeing the fees in Stripe – I thought they would show in the dashboard and payments, but they do not: I must navigate to https://dashboard.stripe.com/applications/fees to see the fees. Nobody mentioned this during this entire time, so I didn’t know. I apologize for any wasted time.

Thanks for the response. I have contacted Stripe as well and have been in a back and forth with them for the last week. So far no help – they have just sent me links to this information: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/payments-fees
If I give you admin login credentials for our testing version of the site, couldn’t you set up WC Vendors with your own Stripe testing accounts and then you could get all the information you described in your previous message, so you could test it out? In this way, you could test what is happening and look for the errors you think might be there.

I have been doing all these tests in live mode since July 21 when Ben told me I needed to do so.
I have created a new vendor account and connected it with my secondary Stripe account. Does the Stripe account have to be a completely new account, too, or only the vendor account on my website.

I’m not clear what you want me to do. Do you want me to create an entirely new vendor account on my website and connect a stripe account and do a test purchase? I already did this last week, as noted in the last bullet point of my message above: “…created a new vendor, connected to stripe, created a new product, purchased the new product: all money went to secondary stripe account, no commission for primary account”
I did a bunch more testing today:
– disconnected secondary stripe account and made an order: all money went to primary stripe account
– reconnected secondary stripe account and made an order: all money went to secondary stripe account, no commission for primary account
– cloned the site, everything up-to-date, changed stripe connect app settings to new site url, disabled all plugins excpet wc vendors + wc vendors stripe connect + woocommerce, switched to twenty sixteen theme, created a new vendor, connected to stripe, created a new product, purchased the new product: all money went to secondary stripe account, no commission for primary accountBen,
The product is $1. I purchased one of them using a real credit card. The product was created by a vendor which is connected with Stripe using Stripe Connect.

Woocommerce with WC Vendors Stripe Connect plugin. Customer pays through Stripe. As far as I understand, WC Vendors Stripe Connect plugin should then split the payment between the Vendor and the Primary Stripe Account. However, this is not the case, and full payment amount goes to Vendor Stripe Account.I don’t know what other details I can provide. I followed the instructions thus far: I have an SSL certificate, Stripe is active, secondary account is connected, commission is set to 90%, I’m not in test mode, WC vendors shows the commission as paid, stripe shows only the full amount deposited to the secondary Stripe account and nothing to the primary.
I’ve attached screenshots of the settings screens I could think of. Please tell me what else you’d like to see.
For you to replicate, you must have admin access and a secondary account access, create a product, buy the product, then check Stripe for both accounts to see how the payment has been split (or, in this case, not split).
I just made a purchase and the commission split was not applied: 100% of the money went to the connected stripe account, and nothing went to the primary stripe account.
2a) Okay, thanks for the explanation. It might be a good idea to include this detail in the setup instructions.
1) Why is the message “Another gateway that offers instant payments to vendors that also accepts credit cards directly on your checkout page is Stripe” still there if the plugin is installed? This is misleading.
2a) So how do I test it to make sure it’s working right and payments are being divided correctly?

Ben: With our Stripe plugin, and only ours, your vendors would go to their Vendor Dashboard, and click “Connect to Stripe”.
Is this true when your Stripe Connect plugin is used standalone, without WC Vendors?
– Nile: Do I have to use WC Vendors in order to use Stripe Connect, or will it work standalone? We have a website selling with Woocommerce, and we allow vendors to create products. We also want vendors to authorize their stripe accounts as part of the registration process, and for commissions to automatically be paid to them based on the sale of their products.
Ben: A Our Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin is intended for use with only WC Vendors Free or WC Vendors Pro. It will actually work by itself, without WC Vendors, though there’s no real reason to use it, as there’s free Stripe gateways that will do the same thing. WooThemes recently made their Stripe gateway free, I’d recommend that if you’re not using WC Vendors. If you want to pay your vendors with Stripe, though, ours is not only the best, it’s the only. 🙂
Nile: We already have the create product feature for the vendors set up, so adding the WC Vendors plugin seems like it would add unnecessary complication and require us to go back into development. We want to have the Stripe Connect feature, initially to connect vendor accounts with Stripe so we can do manual payout of commissions through Stripe, and later so we can do automated payouts of commissions (or, if it’s simple, we would go straight to automatic payout now).
As we already have the capability for vendors to create products, if we add your Stripe Connect plugin, can we 1) have it authorize vendors to connect their Stripe accounts and record their stripe id, or 2) also pay out commissions automatically.
If your willing to have a phone conversation about this, or a Google Hangout, it might be easier to discuss. I’d be happy to give you a brief walkthrough of what we have already developed and demonstrate what we are trying to add.
