    Hi Anna,

It’s not on the backend of the site, it’s on the front end only. If I wanted to add variable products from the backend, there wouldn’t be any problem. However, a vendor from the vendor dashboard has the ability to add a variable product without issue…BUT he/she cannot put a price on it.

I got a response from my theme developer, he told me to disable my caching plugin…Which I did.

Also, I need to update from WCV 1.37 to 1.39. There seems to be an issue with my license activation….Can you help me out on that?

Thought I’d post on this just to say I’m having a similar issue. A vendor contacted me tonight and told me that there wasn’t a place to put a price for variable products…In reality, we never bothered to check it before launch because we doubted we’d ever even need it…Well, you know how that goes..

    I contacted the theme developer.

Just a user like you, but those are functions of WooCommerce Simple Auction, not WCVendors. Not certain that WCVendors would have any ability to control them.

Yeah, so some sort of weird hiccup. Because it’s saying that you’ve activated it too many times, but it’s not showing a related URL in your DOWNLOADS area. This is gonna have to be taken care of by Anna or Ben.

Sorry I couldn’t help, but it looks like you’re doing everything right.

And you’re copying/pasting the entire license key, including WC-

And you’re making sure that when you copy/paste, there’s not a space before the W in wc? which would throw everything off. Sometimes happens

That’s odd…Because from what it looks like, you never activated the license after purchase. 0/1 shows you purchased it, but never activated. For example, mine is 1/1 I purchased 1 and activated 1.

This has gotta be something mindlessly easy, but I’m kinda at a loss without being able to see it myself.

When you put the key and email in, what does it say/do?

Ok, so that license key that you crossed out is the license key that you want to place in your WordPress Dashboard under settings…

Copy and paste it starting at wc-

You missed where I said the keys aren’t there anymore….the keys are in the DOWNLOADS area.

And you can’t remove it from your MY DOWNLOADS area by removing your URL? I saw one other post a couple weeks ago, where they had to reset it for a person on their end….But if you haven’t tried to remove the URL, from MY DOWNLOADS, I’d try that, and start over…re-entering the license key in WordPress under settings.

Hopefully that works for you, otherwise, you’ll have to wait for Anna or Ben to do it.

I’m sure that’s where your problem is…So, did you go into MY DOWNLOADS in WCVENDORS and try and remove your URL from the license? Then reactivate in WordPress? If so, then it’s going to be a job for Anna or Ben, They would have to reset that on their end…

If you haven’t tried that, let’s try that now.

I’d like to help you out, but I dont know if Anna is going to reply again…

I saw you have another post about having a hard time activting WCVendorPro? Did you get that taken care of?, and did you put the license in the WP Dashbaord Settings area?

If so, did you go through all of the WCVendors set up stuff under the WooCommerce Tab in WordPress?

They changed where the key is located. Go into your My Downloads area, then tick Downloads.

You should see your license key directly under what you’ve purchased.

Then, (if you haven’t already) you need to place that license key in your WordPress Dashbaord ->Settings-> WCVendorProLicense

    Jeffrey,

I’m not WCV support, just a user…But figured I could help. Log into your your WordPresss Dashboard, go to USERS

There you’ll find the new account you made….Open it up.

Itll be labeled as pending Vendor…. Just tick it and change it to vendor.

    I got it..Woohoo!

Sorry for the bother. Maybe this will help someone in the future….

If you want your Store icon to be round, but keep the banner square.. add this to your CSS.

    .store-icon{
    border-radius:50%
    }

Ok, I’ve seemed to have fixed it (kind of). Now, I want to make the smaller image a circle. I thought that’s what I’d seen in the examples? Messing around in dev tools, both images seem to be in the same class? What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks Stefan! I’ve had some theme issues in the last few days, and started with a new theme…I’d forgotten about the functions.php redirect code.

For those that may be having the same issue, the code is in the knowledge base. Here’s a link.

Yep. Looks like that’s the plan. Asking some authors about WooCommerce.php is like pulling teeth unfortunately.

    Thanks for the help.

Make sure you’ve filled out the address and other information for both the buyer and seller tests and try again.

You need to login to your WCVendor account, go to your API Keys or API downloads, ( not in front of my computer right now)…You’ll see your version with the license..delete it, then copy the # starting with wc- and go into settings in your dashboard and paste it, along with our email.

Yep, says in the knowledge base that you’ll break your site. Must have Free activated when you’re using Pro.
