    Hello lilmiss,
I’ve just found this, sorry for bringing it back from the dead 🙂

Could I ask how this all worked out for you in the end? If that’s your site in the screen shots above then I would say pretty well, that is a look I am after too, particularly the sidebar with social media links.

Thanks in advance if you take the time to reply,
    Philip.

    Hi Ben,
thanks so much, I would never have found that, I didn’t know it was a settings issue.
    It’s working perfectly now.
    Cheers 🙂

    Hi guys,
sorry to drag up an old thread, but I’m having exactly the same issue as konakid was, but the solution (using /my-account/) doesn’t work for me, as the form I get is different.

The shortcode on the My Account page is [woocommerce_my_account] and I have a screenshot below of the output on the front end. As you can see, it is just a log in form, not a registration one.

Everything else works fine, I have been using the plugin for a few months now but have always add the Vendors manually before.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

    Hi guys,
I’m just wondering, is the code above (from August 14th 2014) still valid?

If so, could you tell me where I need to put it please? (The reference site linked to further up the page is dead).

    Many thanks in advance.
    Philip.

    Hi Ben,
    thanks.

The reason I said that is that I can’t find how they are doing it (selling virtual products in the form of printable vouchers ) and tracking the sale from site to shop in a professional and scale-able manner.

    Thank you,
    Philip.

    Hey,
    me again.

I haven’t been able to find anything that looks a better fit than the plugin above. And it does say on it is compatible with WC Vendors (no mention of Pro though).

Do you think the front end/back end mix would work OK, or am I wasting my time with it?

I can’t believe no one else is selling virtual products with WCV, am I missing something obvious?

    Many thanks again,
    Philip.

    Hi,
    I found this – http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-pdf-vouchers-wordpress-plugin/7392046
There are a few restrictions, mainly that it only works on the back end, so isn’t compatible with WCV Pro (I think) but the rest looks good.

    Hi Ben,
OK, thanks. I was hoping there might be a way to do it without adding yet another plugin.
Also, I don’t want to be tied to a printable receipt only, so if people are out and about they can purchase and redeem totally on their mobile.
    Onward and upwards then.
    Regards,
    Philip.

    Thanks again Jenny,
I’m sure there’s something out there. I remember seeing cool plugins years ago, when I didn’t need them, typical.
    Cheers,
    Philip.

    Hi Jenny,
thank you for answering me, you might regret it though! Joking 🙂

How do you generate a unique voucher, so it can’t be shared or used more than once?

Maybe you’re using a plugin to control it? None of the ones I have found so far seem suitable.

    Many thanks again,
    Philip.

    Hi,
    +1 for the demo.

I would (possibly) be migrating from an my current solution, where each shop has their full details available to help prospective purchasers check them out and, hopefully, help them decide to buy. It’s a directory plugin though, so changing to WCV would suit me better long term.

If we could see what’s possible with a bit of tweaking and a few merchants added, rather than how it comes out of the box, it would be a good indication if it’s going to work for our purpose.

    Thank you,
    Philip.

    Hi Ben,
yup, using the User ID number instead of the name worked, great!

Thanks for the heads-up on that other plugin, but I am pretty happy with what I have, and now that I got this sorted it does everything I need again.

    Many thanks,
    Philip.

    Hello Ben,
thanks for coming back to me.
Unfortunately, I still can’t get it to populate correctly, it is still adding my log-in name as the vendor on every product I import.
I will keep playing with it though, I have been using WPAI for a long time and now that I have the correct field name I’m sure I’ll crack it.

    Philip.

    Hi Ben,
no, it’s definitely Chained I need. I much prefer to hide my commission from the buyer.
    Thanks anyway,
    Philip.

    Hi Ben,
    thanks for the reply.

I think there is a bit of confusion over terminology. I understood that Chained Payments was one of the Adaptive Payments features (along with Parallel Payments), whereas you are saying it is a separate feature to Adaptive Payments. I have picked this up wrong then.

If Chained Payments is not going to be supported in the upcoming Pro version then it wouldn’t work for me.

Whilst it is mainly an affiliate site I run, I also have some other merchants whom I sell for, and I pay them immediately at present using Chained Payments, and it is a big attraction for them. This is the part of the site I want to grow, hence my keenness to have Chained Payments.

So just to confirm, Chained Payments ISN’T going to be supported in the Pro version when it comes out, is that correct?

    Thank you,
    Philip.
