    Hm, if possible I’d rather find another way than switching themes. I checked the code in the page source and see this short snippet there:

    I’ll bump this as I’m looking for this as well. Is it possible to use the WooCommerce feature “Shipping Zones” with WC Vendors?

    Frankly, shooting from the hip, I’ve NEVER seen any website where they say “Shipping to Asia is $x, Shipping to Australia is $y, Shipping to North America is $z” and if there is, chances are its not a marketplace.

    I think it’s pretty common on second-hand marketplaces, this site being an example.

    This has been a feature several of my vendors have requested as well.

    I haven’t updated to the latest yet. I’m currently on WooCommerce Version 2.6.14, WC Vendors Version 1.9.8 and WC Vendors Pro Version 1.3.9.

    The items are marked as “In stock”, with 0 in quantity, but with allowed backorder, as the products are made to order.

    I’m not familiar with filters and action hooks, how do I edit those?

    In the product page I’d like to add descriptions to these:

    Product Description
    Tags
    Product Type
    SKU
    Manage stock
    Attributes
    Variations

    In settings it’s these:
    Store Name
    Store Description

    I also want to remove this field: Seller Info

    Hi Anna,
    Thank you for your reply.

    I marked the old orders as Reversed, good to see them gone. 🙂 Now it’s just the €1 order tests we did the other day, that we still need to test for payment (€3.20 to be payed in commissions). However, I still get the same error message:

    Error: Invalid userId
    Payment total: €3.20

    What does “Invalid userId” refer to? Is it the PayPal that is not set up properly?

    I would stay away from Divi, Flatmarket, Flatsome, that’s about it.

    I’ve been looking for a web developer to help me customise a theme I purchased (Savoy), but was recommended to go with Divi instead because of how customisable it is. Why do you think it should be stayed away from? Do you have any ideas for other easily customisable skins that work well?

    That sounds great! I’ll look more into themes and search for something that resembles my design then. http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/ecommerce seems to be a good place to start looking, do you have any recommendations for other places? And what should I think about regarding WC Vendors when choosing theme? Do they need to be specifically designed for WC Vendors?

    Yes, I was expecting prices around $1500 for one fully customized. But if that means having to pay for updates, plugins and fixes, I imagine that would make it very expensive over time, and also generally less up-to-date and more complicated.

    The design of the website is very important to me however, it needs to fit in to the aesthetics of the products and give the right impression to the customers. How customizable are they? If I could customize them into my fittings, a finished theme would be a much more attractive option.

    That’s much less than I expected. I assumed there would be quite a few small fees here and there for additional features.

    Themes that are free suck, but a good paid theme will be $75-$150.

    Speaking of themes, I have made a design myself in Photoshop, and am looking for someone to make it into a functioning WordPress theme, do you have any suggestions for where to turn for this? I’ve been looking so far at Freelancer.com for a web developer.
