Weird. We just pushed out v1.4.3 of Pro though, so download that, upload to your website via FTP and let me know if you still see this issue.

I just uploaded 1.4.3 about 3 minutes ago.

Hey James! Shoot me a demo copy of your plugin! [email protected] — I want to see how it works! If it looks good, we’re about to add a few other plugins to our paid plugin area, and yours would make a nice addon. We can chat there via email.

    Howdy Stacy!

I dont know what AfterPay is. (Cool name, though!). If they have a WooCommerce gateway, then you can use it. If not, we can write it for you, if they have the API documentation, but you’ll probably hate the price. Gateways are terribly complex from the small guys and are generally $1500-$2500 to code one.

Your other request is much easier. Anna can probalby handle that for you in no time. She’ll see this thread and reply soo. You can reply to her with more details of what you want by replying here, and just checking the Set as private reply box.

If you find a solution, I’d love to see it!

One thing to remember, is that NO MATTER WHAT domain.com/vendorslug/user_login will always work. That’s right, it *always* works.

So, have your subdomain be the user login. Now you have ben.domain.com (hey, i’m a vendor now!). My store is really on http://www.domain.com/vendors/ben/ of course. But to please my lazy ass, ben.domain.com could detect the host and then redirect me to http://www.domain.com/vendors/HOST or whatever.

If you wiggle up the code for it, let us know! It’d be fun to have in the archives.

    WooCommerce is much faster now.

WC Vendors Free has been rewritten twice, and on its third rewrite coming soon.

WC Vendors Pro has had some one thousand five hundred changes.

    Yep, you’re a bit behind!

    You need to:

1.) Turn off your vendor plugins

2.) Update to WooCommerce 3.0 and get all your themes and other plugins working and happy.

    3.) Install WC Vendors Free.

4.) Purchase and install WC Vendors Pro, optional

From there, everything actually should work just fine. All the original upgrade routines for Product Vendors are still a part of the code and would update your site after you activate Free.

If you have issues, just reply. We’re here.

Bookings 1.0.0 is ready for release tonight or tomorrow. Just making sure all the WooCommerce 3.0 stuff and Pro 1.4 stuff are perfectly solid, looks like we are, before releasing another new product into the wild.

Bookings will require WC Vendors Pro, it will not function in Free whatsoever.

It’s easy. You pay vendors commission. If price is $100, and commission is 90%, then you, the admin, gets $10, and the vendor gets $90.

@RACHANEEMUNAR the best way to do this would be to mark all orders as ‘processing’ once received, but only apply the mycred points to the vendors upon ‘completed’. Automating it wouldnt be terribly complex, probably just a couple hours of coding to make it all pretty.

Can I ask why it has happened recently to only a few and not all downloads?

You could, or you could just pause Windows Defender for ten seconds, download the zip file, and be done with it. šŸ™‚

To actually answer your question without my usual sarcasm, though, the issue comes down to MICROSOFT and GOOGLE. They think YOU are dumb. That’s right. They think YOU, ME, and everyone here is dumb and cant figure out malicious code vs good code. So, they are marking javascript as malicious, even though it is not.

You cant even attach zip files with javascript in them with Gmail anymore as of last month. Try it, it’ll fail to attach.

Since MS and GOOG think we are idiots, this is the result. It creates problems for you in order to also ‘keep you safe’.

The solution, rather simply, is to simply pause the virus scanner for ten seconds and do the work. Then turn it back on.

The ONLY way to permanently resolve this, is for ALL of us to write Microsoft a very sternly worded letter and demand they answer us — or else.

This comes up once a month and has since October 2016.

    There is no virus.

Bruno’s false positive at virustotal is because of Javascript.

All our code is not only virus free, but also visible by browsing in any damn text editor you want, so you can clearly see it is not a virus. Microsoft and Google are clamping down on “regular users” having Java because they dont trust you to tell the difference between good software and bad software.

So, we cant really do anything about Microsoft or Google or stupid web based things giving a bad positive. If you think there’s a virus in the code, show it to me. Show me the code that is the virus. If you can, I will pay you $1000 cash money.

Refer to Stripe for current fee structure. They are the key masters!

For the debit card or bank account, we just show what STripe shows, so if Stripe can show them, they can help on that one. I’d call them

in reply to: A few questions on Stripe Gateway #60571
    WC Vendors Support
    Participant

1.) Correct! Instant only. However, there is no additional fees. If the product is $100, and you pay the vendor 90% commission, admin gets $10 and $0 fees, vendor gets $90 and pays the 2.9% or whatever it is that’s all. Nothing more. It’s the best deal in Vegas, baby!

2.) Ignore them. We’re right, they are wrong. šŸ™‚

3.) Ignore that, too. That’s just PayPal Adaptive stuff. All of your Stripe settings are in wp-admin > woo > settings > checkout > stripe commission & gateway

in reply to: Vendors in non-Stripe countries #60481

1.) Tell those vendors to google “Payoneer Global Payment Service”. Have them sign up for it.

2.) Once Payoneer signs them up, they are given a visa/mastercard and a bank account # for a usa bank account.

3.) The vendor signs up with Stripe, using their Payoneer Global Payment Services account number and routing #.

Then, it’d be all automatic. That’s what a 30 second google search showed up.

Reformatting all to mp4 is pretty easy. We’d have to setup something via Node or some other method to interact with ffmpeg. Have it ping the server back when the video is done encoding or whatever. Generate screenshots. Auto attach the mp4. Display the file download details such as length, resolution, size, etc…., on the single product page. All the videos are in the woocommrece_uploads directory so they are all inaccessible by normal methods and secure.

Most of the time for this project would involve with the screenshots and the ffmpeg stuff. I think you’d be around 50-60 hours all in all. It’s not a cheap project, but this is kindof a one-off scenario. Most sites dont use WordPress for porn for some reason, I dont know why that is. We have some other customers doing similar stuff, but not as integrated or as well as you. They just take the file and let their vendors/models upload their own images. You’d be a bar above that’s for sure, and an incredibly easy file uploader to add to their stores.

1.) Take uploaded file and ffmpeg it and convert it to various formats and attach it to the product

2.) Generate screenshots from the clip and allow the vendor to choose X many

That sounds like a complete mess if you wanted to do that. It would be much easier to try and fix the issue instead. šŸ™‚ Probably take less time, too.

I see we’re missing an admin login to your site, though……. Could you private reply as well as the username/email/or-userid of the new vendor so I can also check their account and settings out?

And, if I click “Pay now” and it works, you’re happy with that, I wont do a damn thing until you confirm otherwise because I’m not trying to spend your money. šŸ˜‰ I’m not sure if it’s us, or you yet, but we’ll get there.

“Now” is technically just the scheduler, being run, well, “now”. So with that, you should not need Parallel Payments, only Mass Payments.

The 500 error is saying missing arguments. You have commissions currently due? Do the vendors needing to be paid have valid paypal emails? Are any new and have never been paid?

in reply to: Can't Pay Vendors #60251
    WC Vendors Support

Werent you using that chained payments code? If no, sorry, I thought you were.

If Parallel Payments is not ticked, you can not pay vendors with instant pay. Instant pay = parallel pay. Schedule pay = Mass pay.

Remember, PayPal approves ALL ACCOUNTS MANUALLY so what you ask for isnt waht you get sometimes and they can change anything any time. You know, it’s…….paypal…..

No, what I mean (and sorry if iā€™m not explaining myself very well) is that I will be potentially using an automated viral sign up provider which allows a customer to register interest and receive $5 and this gets increased if they refer their friends.

OK, this has nothing to do with WC Vendors, this is just a registration thingy. No idea on this one. šŸ™‚

If I set up coupons in woocommerce and a buyer buys a product from a vendor, (using vendors pro) will the coupons work?

Did it work when you tried it on the demo server? (Yes).

WE do not do plugin compatibility. Asking Anna to test 20 plugins for you because you want to take a shortcut?

No. That’s not how this works.

Follow the debug steps. Test with WCV, Woo, and Stripe, and nothing else. Do stuff till you get it to break with ONLY those plugins installed. Do that, and then you have our attention.

It depends. It SOUNDS like you are asking me “How do I incorporate more fields into the Pro add/edit product form”, rather than what you did ask, about “is a plugin compatible”. Pro doesnt give a poo about plugins.

But if you want extra fields on the Pro add/edit product form, you add them yourself for the most part.
