Xstore has to fix it on their side. Sounds like a novice coding mistake, not declaring your own classes.

You can say Dokan here. Everyone knows them and we all know they suck. :

You can use whatever plugins you want. We dont care what plugins you use. Same for themes. Use whatever theme you like as long as its 100% WooCommerce compatible.

    Howdy!

1.) Aah, I know what you’re doing. Pretty easy, too. Once you buy Pro, read the docs on how to edit templates. Use these instructions: https://gist.github.com/digitalchild/cb49e3dfd04b67450d2c Once you do, all of your products that vendors can add, will be downloadable virtual products only.

2.) Yup. That’s the whole point of it. 🙂

    3.) Yes.

    4.) Yes.

    5.) Yes.

    Hi Laurie!

You’ve been with us quite a long time, thank you for that!

Bookings and Pro v1.4.0 is done. We’re just tidying any last minute touches as the public beta for it finishes before April 4th, the date WooCommerce 3.0 comes out and all the new stuff from us does too.

I’m not actually sure how MangoPay will interact with bookings. In fact, I have no idea at all. MangoPay the gateway company writes their own WordPress plugin to integrate their gateway with WC Vendors. They *may* need to update it, but I dont know.

What I would suggest, is joining the Pro/Bookings beta which is open to anyone who has an active Pro license. Then you can test it and see if it works, how it works, and if something is broken, for us or them to fix it in advance. And of course any other weird/goofy stuff you see, you have our full attention during the beta! 🙂 Check the forums it’s a sticky post from Anna to join.

Well, now is the time for your feedback and input. We’re in the beta test right now for Bookings and Pro. There’s a sticky thread in the forums for it. You must be a Pro user to be in the beta, but heck, it’s only a week from release so might as well go for it now. You’ll then be able to see how it works, and if anything needs changing, provide the input so it can be changed now, rather than later.

Once WOoCommerce 3.0 comes out, buy Pro and the BOokings Integration for Pro. That’ll be on April 4th. Then, the world is yours. 🙂

Until then, what you are asking for is actually impossible.

You will want your own dedicated server. We can lease one and manage it for you, or you can buy your own and do it yourself. All up to you. ~$200/month depending on what type of hardware you need.

No clue! I guess the better question is why WOULDNT it be? I see no reason. 99.8128372380918237283723 and a half % of wordpress plugins work with ours just fine.

    WC Vendors Support

WooCommerce can handle that sized site no problem at all. And more. In fact, in the next version of WooCommerce 3.0.0 out April 3rd you will see many improvements speed wise as they have moved away from the slower wordpress tables for things and you’ll see marked improvements of 80-90% speed upgrades. Happy times.

Migration of data really wouldnt be hard either. Just ues the free CSV importer that is found in our knowledgebase under the compatible plugins article. It can handle product imports of any size and attribute the products to the right vendors accounts and everything. For importing everything else that isnt a product that’s easy too, ther’es other import tools for it and it’s all just simple database stuff anyway. Worse case scenario it might cost you a few hundred bucks to have someone migrate from Software X to WordPress/WooCommerce for you.

Hosting wise we offer hosting. You would have to have a dedicated server that sized website, most likely, and then that’d cost a couple hundred bucks a month to rent from there out.

    Hey Charlie,

You’ve been a customer of ours for a number of years, so you know the first question! What changed? Anything specific? Any timeframe you can nail down as to when this started happening?

IPN Payment completed is the note that gets added when your website gets the IPN from PayPal and marks the orders as completed.

What’s different about other orders than the ones that are being goofy? Are they the same types of product? The same unique product id give problems always or never or 50/50? In otherwords, certain products = problem or all random?

What is most of them? Is most of them 9 of 10 orders? 5 of 10? 1 of 10?

We’ll try to help, but we’ll need to be able to replicate the issue. I’m ruling out a bug so far, because of a single topic about this and nothing in PayPal is different……..

I say that article was written by someone trying to sell their product or get a commission and not even remotely close to accurate.

This one thing is true; All marketplaces go to WC Vendors in the end. I’ve said it for years.

Compare active installs. We power more marketplaces than all of our competitors COMBINED AND MULTIPLIED. So yea, they kinda resort to stupid blog articles where they “Compare features”. It’s all bullshit. Their comparison tables are made by browsing websites looking for screenshots. The jackasses that write these articles dont even use the software.

So, do what you want now, in the end, we’ll be here ready to support your site once you buy our software.

You’re thinking of rules for Europe. We’re America. We dont give out tax numbers or social security numbers to people who request it when not required.

When you buy a company lunch, do you ask McDonalds for their tax id #?

Either way, we dont provide it. We thank you much for your support, but this is not information a USA based company gives out to customers.

Easy solution, just set the default role as vendor in wordpress. Here’s some code that will also do it from anyone who registers on /my-account/ no matter what they become a vendor.

I would not use the Boss theme, I’d use Social Marketplace. Boss isnt really setup for WooCommerce too well, in fact not well at all. Great theme, just not for what you are trying to do.

PS — Why are you running Query Monitor on your plugins page? That’s kinda funny. You want to run Query Monitor on FRONT END WEBPAGES not the stuff in wp-admin. That, will tell you if there is a bottleneck. What your screenshot there is just your wp-admin stuff that has zero impact on your customers and vendors performance experience.

Actually, that’s us, asking WordPress Media Library for a files information.

The slow query, while is ours that is being called, the actual function that is slow is WordPress. There is nothing we can code that will make WordPress’ core faster.

You could, perhaps, benefit from other site optimizations, or perhaps a better hosting plan. VPS are so 2009 and GoDaddy is sooooo 1999.

I swear every third topic here is created by you.

You are concerned your vendors will be scared to have Stripe pay them? Is this really serious? What happens if you told the customers to take your check drawn from Wells Fargo bank? Would they say “OMG WHO IS THIS BANK AND WHAT IS THIS TREE PAPER YOU ARE PAYING ME WITH??”

It’s a payment gateway dude. They are obviously safe and secure. Who cares if you havent heard of it. Who cares if your vendors havent either. They are freaking huge and you are creating drama for zero reason about this.

How you convince your vendors not to be scared wussies and to get paid for free by Stripe is up to you. This entire topic is not WC Vendors material.

If you read the documentation for the Stripe gateway all of the actual answers will be pretty obvious too. 🙂

Please, think, read, think some more. We’re here to help, but come on man.

For now my hosted server says that you have unlimited space in your plan.

Yea, except that’s not how LIFE works. You dont ever get unlimited. Unlimited doesnt exist. Soon as you start filling their shared webserver with 1GB files in bulk you’ll get turned off. I warned ya, so, just saying, expect the worse if you pay for the least amount of hosting possible.

External / third party URLs are of course fine for downloadable products. Try it. You’d see it works already. 🙂

WC Vendors Free and WC Vendors Pro can handle unlimited products and unlimited vendors. No problem. We could care less if you have 1 product or one bajillion quadrillion products.

What does matter, is your webhosting setup. Obviously, if you have more than 10,000 vendors, you have staff of at least 10-15 people handling customer service and a huge tech team. You’d be as big as Amazon.com with 10,000 vendors, too.

So, what is this mystical website you are building that you are curious about if a single plugin can handle the equivalent of trillions of dollars of web sales for *your* site? 🙂

As an actual serious answer, it’s all about your server hardware. If you use GoDaddy and you pay them two dollars a month for hosting, you’ll get two dollars worth of a webserver. Pay more host more. But as for the actual software, WordPress, WooCommerce, and WC Vendors, no problem.

    WC Vendors Support
    Participant

    No problem!

Of course, 1GB size of files would require a fair amount of storage space, too, if you had thousands of them. If you find yourself with terabytes of data and no way to manage it let us know we’ll be happy to work on a custom hosted marketplace solution for you.

We wouldnt ever build anything for you to ban customers (or users). Customers = users and there’s tons of wordpress user plugins to ban people.

That’s what the forums are for! 🙂 🙂

    1.) Yes, of course!

2.) http://www.wordpress.org/plugins/wc-vendors/ see the active installs? 20,000+ websites use WC Vendors. But as company rules, we dont just go around giving out our customers information such as websites. You can see some examples by searching the forums here that other members have shared. There are only three sites in which I’ve been told to share, one is fervous.com and the other is wedding-recycle.com and consciouscrafties.com as well. All three are fine examples of niche marketplaces.

3.) It’s $149 per year. Dont think of a renewal as a re-donation. I too, buy plugins, and find the “yearly renewal” really really really stupid and annoying. But with WC Vendors Pro, look at our changelog. We have NEVER stopped coding and improving Pro — in huge substantial ways each release — and we actually are also here to support you and do so fast and with accuracy. So yep, that’ll cost you $149 a year, or less than a half dollar a day. 🙂 Gotta pay the bills somehow!

4.) That’s where we will have a problem. 🙂 The only coupon we have — actually ADDS $50 to the price. WE dont discount for anyone for any reason ever. Everyone pays the exact same incredibly reasonable price. 🙂 Even the Girl Scouts.

    Hi Lewis,

Codeable.io would be our #1 recommendation for custom coding projects, short of using us. Our schedule sucks right now. We’re slammed with 1.4.0, WooCommerce 3.0, our bookings integration in beta, and many more things being completed. Codeable.io does not pay us a penny, and they are all WC Vendors/WooCommerce certified, too. They just do nice work so we send people their way.

    1. Vacation mode is ineffective. when vacation mode on then also the orders are getting processed no message is getting displayed.

Vacation mode does not disable orders. It simply displays a message for a vendor. Think: I'm on vacation and wont ship orders until March 22nd. Happy Spring, love Ben's Flowers and Widgets Store. If you want it to do more, like disable the cart or something, ask us the question again the right way! 🙂

    2. I entered the redirection code of redirecting the vendor after login to mt functions.php of child theme – not working.

Probably because ReHub overrides ours already. You’ll have to find theirs to override. It’s the battle of competing filters! 🙂

    3. i am looking for a dashbord for buyers, From where buyers will come to know about there orders etc.

WooCommerce’s My Account page == Buyer Dashboard. This is WooCommerce 101, that ANY admin should already know before messing with WC Vendors, so I’ll provide you with a few other links to aide you in setting up your brand new site — https://docs.woocommerce.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/

Aah! That’s easy too. 🙂 You can manually inject the rows. Just copy a row and then change the data to the new product id, order id, vendor id, commission total and status. It’s a surprisingly common sense labeled table, each row is for exactly what its title is.

So, rather than “change”, “add”. 🙂

Thank you, I’ve sent them a note.

    WC Vendors Support

It’s actually not pulled from the order data. It’s pulled from the commission log. Here’s how to do it:

1.) Find the products id. Find new vendors user id.

2.) in phpMyAdmin, open the pv_commission table. Find the products id in that table, and each row you do, indicates a sale. Change the vendors id to the new vendors id for rows that match that products id.

It’s a bit manual, but that’s because we dont have any normal facility for you to hack at the steadfast commissions tables unless you do it through the database. Hope this helps!

Dont worry about DNS for now, it’s really simple. We’ll change your TTL to something low, say 600 which is a 10 minute expiration. Then, when we transfer your site later, your customers have little to no downtime at all. It will be a seamless transfer and I’ll be there the whole way.
