We’re happy to announce the release of WC Vendors Pro 1.8.0 today. The focus of this release was to bring a couple of features that have been requested for some time, along with updating some existing features and addressing a few bugs that have been discovered since our last release.
What’s New
There are three features that were the focus of this release. One related to product management and two related to shipping.
Vendor Product Import & Export
Vendors can now import and export their own products directly from the dashboard. By default, this feature is disabled, you will need to enable it in the WC Vendors settings.

Regions in Shipping
We have had the request to add regions to our country table rate shipping system, and this is now available. Allowing your vendors to select an entire region to apply their shipping rates to.
Everywhere else
We have added another option on top of regions called everywhere else. This is a wildcard setting that allows the vendors to set their rates for the countries they want as well as ‘everywhere else’ so that they can set a default shipping amount for everywhere else if required.
Maximum, Minimum and Free shipping thresholds
In previous versions of WC Vendors Pro, the shipping threshold fields were below both the flat rate and country rate shipping options. However, the thresholds did not apply to country rate calculations. This lead to some confusion and also didn’t allow for setting different rates for national and international. As per the notice we have had in the dashboard, those fields have been moved into the national/international shipping table.
This update will allow the vendors to set thresholds per order for both national and international rates independently of each other.

Advanced tab
Our main product edit form did not at the advanced tab that reflected the standard product form available in the WooCommerce Admin, we have added this tab to the available product tabs on the product edit form.
Setting updates
- You can now hide/require the weight, dimensions fields on the product form settings page.
- We have added an option to enable or disable the Mark Received functionality.

- Filter hooks to change columns and rows on the Pro Dashboard tables #1588 (#1589)
- Actions to templates for easily hooking into the main dashboard templates (#1580)
- Filter to allow mark received to be used for digital products. #1455 (#1572)
