NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi,

    I would like to display the add product page (and company details tab) in the initial setting up of a vendor (Through a help tutorial).

    I am using a tabbed plugin to accomplish this, most of these require you to place the shortcode within the tab page.

    I know from looking on the support forums that the add-product page does not have a shortcode. I think I can display the add-product section in a tab by using the page or post ID.

    Does the add-product page have a page or post ID?

    The user would need to have the vendor role to view the add product page.. so as long as in the first step they obtain the vendor role, they can then move on to the product page.
    The add product page URL is ” your-site.com/your-pro-dashboard-URL/product/edit ”

    Hi Anna,

    Thanks for your reply. Basically I want to display various parts of the WC Vendor Pro pages in a new setup process that I have created. I can pull in woocommerce pages etc. by using the shortcode for those pages.

    I am aware that the ‘add new product’ page of WC Vendors does not have a shortcode (the WC Vendors Pro dashboard does). I think I have a few options here:

    1: Use the page/post ID of the ‘add new product’ section in the WC Vendors Pro Dashboard (Add product tab)
    2: Create a new page with the code from the add new product tab within the WC Vendors Pro Dashboard, create a shortcode for that page and insert in the setup process.

    I hope this all makes sense. Basically when a new user registers, apply to a vendor, then clicks ‘Let’s get started’ and it takes them through a step-by-step process to get up and running.
