I’m seeing a new issue recently where my product page is blank. I’ve isolated it down to WCV Pro. When I disable the plugin, all products pages load.

Here is example of product page: http://dev.postcardtree.com/postcard/exhibition-building-melbourne-de-pape-1905/

Looking in console, I see this error:

“Fatal error: Call to a member function get_id() on string in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-pro/public/class-wcvendors-pro-vendor-controller.php on line 1200”

I’ve deleted and reinstalled WCV Pro but issue persists unless I deactivate plugin. Feel free to activate plugin to see issue and test.

I was running WC3 and this issue seems to have appeared then – i’ve since downgraded WC (too many other issues) but still have this problem.

    Hello,
You truly cannot fully downgrade to WooCommerce (less than 3.0) since the info stays in the database..
If you run WooCommerce 3.0+, WC Vendors Pro 1.4.1 and WC Vendors 1.9.10, and switch to the Storefront theme, does this occur?
Your theme is not yet WooCommerce 3.0+ or WC Vendors 1.4+ compatible.. They really really need to update, since they override our templates, override some WooCommerce templates and use WooCommerce hooks… so anything that is not up to date will cause issues.
WooCommerce changed a lot for their 3.0 update. We, then, as a result, had to update, and did so before the 3.0 release so that our users would not experience an interruption. BuddyBoss did not update proactively, so now users of that theme and plugin are experiencing a lot of issues.
They have said that they are working on an update for the Social Marketplace- but I do not know when this will be completed.

    Hi Anna,

So all the updates are out and i’ve now installed them all. I still have the blank product page when WCV is enabled (i have to leave it disabled at the moment). When i try to load any product page I get an error in logs. This example when i try to load: http://dev.postcardtree.com/postcard/exhibition-building-melbourne-cox-1905/

[Fri Apr 21 00:44:11.431025 2017] [:error] [pid 32455] [client 121.209.15.25:64294] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_id() on string in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-pro/public/class-wcvendors-pro-vendor-controller.php on line 1200, referer: http://dev.postcardtree.com/marketplace/?type=sale

    Any ideas?

    Hello,
If you deactivate all plugins except woocommerce, wc vendors and wc vendors pro– does this still occur?

    Hi Anna,
When I do that, I only get category breadcrumbs across top of product page. I also get this error in logs:

[Sun Apr 23 01:31:17.693882 2017] [:error] [pid 6025] [client 1.129.97.52:2881] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_id() on string in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-pro/public/class-wcvendors-pro-vendor-controller.php on line 1200

    Thanks,
    Neil

    Hi Anna,

When I reactivated the other plugins, the issue disappeared? Now I have WCV Pro running and the product page displays correctly. I guess issue resolved!

    Thanks,
    Neil

    Neil-
    Ok- glad it is solved.
Let me know if you need anything else. We’re doing what we can to find any other issues from the WooCommerce update.
