Hi WC Vendors – I put in the Buddypress Integration (Pro) code in functions.php. Everything looks fine except “Visit Store” is not going to the correct link. It should be this one: http://www.hausie.com/shop/amy%20cheng/ instead it is going to this one: http://www.hausie.com/vendor_stores/9838/. Please help. Thanks!

I am using WC vendors pro, and I use the knowledge base code for the wc vendors free to display the “visit my store” link in the no profile.

Since pro version 1.2 + no longer uses the vendor_store pages, the pro integration in the Kb for the visit store/bp no longer works.. But the free works instead.

Ok… My iPhone is autocorrect happy.
That’s supposed to say BP profile, not no profile.

    It works perfectly for me?

Click “Visit Store”, takes me to:

    Pro v1.2.2, Free v1.8.6, WC 2.5.2

    Hmmm..
Well at one point was the kb directing to the old pro store pages?
I know I went back to the wcv free kb for a reason… I think?

For Leon there ^ it looks like it is taking him to the old pro store page.

The Pro KB Gist was updated 10 days ago for Pro v1.2.1+ compatibility. I assumed that Leon was using the newest code since his message he wrote sounded like he just installed it.

Leon: Use the latest KB code ( https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/integrating-with-buddypress-profiles-pro-only/ ) and see if that fixes it for you. If not, please let me know and we’ll work through it.

I updated my integration to the current PRO code and it works perfectly. I must have tried to use the Pro code before it was updated 10 days ago. 😉 Thanks, Ben.

Hopefully this works for Leon, too. Sorry if I misled you!

Hi Ben – The code I used is indeed the most updated one. But it doesn’t work, it is giving me the “vendor store” not the “normal store”. Please help! Do you need my FTP and WP login?

    Hi Vivian,

Easy fix. You’re running an old version of Pro. The BuddyPress code works for Pro v1.2.0+. You’re running Pro v1.1.1. v1.1.1 is REALLY old. 🙂 Go ahead and update! You can download the latest Pro @ http://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/

1.) Deactivate your Pro license key
2.) Deactivate and delete the Pro plugin
    3.) Upload Pro v1.2.2 & Activate
    4.) Re-enter your license key

The version of Pro you have installed does not have an auto updater. After you manually update to Pro v1.2.2, you will see updates in wp-admin so you dont ever have to do this manually again.

Once you update, everything should work fine. 🙂
