    Hi Kriti!

Sure thing! For this you would edit the WC Vendors Pro templates. You can read how to do that here:

    https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/changing-vendor-templates/

….and on our Pro Setup Guide at the very bottom you will see a list of all the templates, and what each one does.

    https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/wc-vendors-pro-setup-guide/

….the one you want will be the add/edit product page, and you can change around anything you like in it. 🙂

    Cheers

    Ben

    Hi Ben!

Thank you so much for your response. I read the articles you mentioned and tried playing around the template files but I couldn’t change the names or wordings which will be displayed to the vendor.

I want to change the word “Product description” on the add/edit product page of for Vendors as shown on screenshot.

I also want to change the word “Commission” to something like “Payment” or “Total Amount” for the vendors as i will be getting commission and they will be getting the major part of payment.

I am having hard time figuring this out or probably i am missing something here. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Kriti

Check out this code, it goes in your themes functions.php file. As for the word Commissions, show me a screenshot of where you want that to have the word changed and I’ll reply back.

/templates/dashboard/reports/overview.php 🙂 See the KB for the article on copying over templates and you can do it for that one and have some fun.

So I am editing the Linked products code on add/edit product template as i want to remove that for the vendors. I am able to hide everything but the “Linked Products” tab stays there and is non clickable. How do I remove the tab?

Another thing I noticed is that for the Pro dashboard pages my header is blank white but it works fine for other pages as shown on screenshot. Any idea?

Looks like @digitalchild will have to update that option to remove the tab, too. 🙂 We’ll get it taken care of for next release. Bug ticket # 107!

    Thank you Ben 🙂

What about the header of my website being blank for the pro dashboard pages? I am not able to figure out why is it so? Can you tell me how do i fix that?

You would want to inspect the CSS and then add an override to it to change the color to something else.

But also I am also unable to see the menu/nav and other elements of the header is that due to css?

Oh! Well, no, that’s different. 🙂 Could you show me a “Before and after” screenshot showing me what it should look like, and what it does look like when it’s a problem? As well as the name of the theme.

So the header is there for all other pages as shown in the Screenshot_01; and is missing for Pro Dashboard pages as shown in Screenshot_02. The name of the theme is Blaszok. You can find it here http://blaszok.mpcthemes.net/landing/

@kkochar – wp-admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > capabilities — Check “Linked Products” and it’ll show it without you having to do anything else. 🙂 All the settings on that page work for Free *and* Pro now. Sorry I had a brain fart and forgot about that. 🙂

“blaszok” — That’s a strange name. It’s also a theme we do not have for testing. 🙂 Could you kindly email it to me — [email protected] — and in your email also include a link to this forum thread so when I get the theme I know what it’s for without having to dig for it? 🙂 Will check it out and get back to you. I’m about to leave my house for 2 1/2 hours but will check this promptly when I return.

    Hello,

If you modified the product template you will have to update it to the latest template that comes with the plugin as the changes needed for this to work are included in the new templates.

You’ll have to copy your changes into the new template and override your existing one.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
