    Hi

So I am wanting to switch around some wording for everything viewable by vendors.

I want to change everything that says “commission” to something like “payment”. The reason being that I am hosting a store in which they are listing THEIR products and to the sellers, what I get should be commission, and they should just be getting the proceeds of the sale (minus the commission).

So I’m fully happy to just adjust things in templates and I’ve tried but I haven’t managed to change everthing. For example – I’ve managed to change the Dashboard as that’s just in the template – easy peasy.

But I have tried to change the wording in the emails that goes out to vendors and it’s not in there specifically, so I am thinking that I need to go about it another way.

    Any ideas?

    Ta!

    Hi Michelle!

    You have mastered WordPress.

    You have mastered WooCommerce.

    You have mastered WC Vendors.

You have mastered WC Vendors Pro.

    You have mastered Pro Templates.

Now, for your final task……. Mastering POEdit. 🙂 To change strings of text really easily, you’d want to use POEdit (Freeware) and edit the /languages/default.po file that is included in Pro. There’s also a translation file for WC Vendors Free also in the /languages folder of that plugin. With that, you can quickly and easily create your own text strings and then send them to your /wp-content/languages/ folder (this folder probably doesnt exist, that’s OK, just create it!). And then you can quickly and easily do everything. 🙂

    Have fun. 🙂

Thanks! I’m getting started at it now… do I keep the file names the same? and just putting them in /wp-content/languages/ folder?

I’m actually really not sure how it all works. I know the po/mo files are good, it’s up to you to figure out how to use them though. 🙂 🙂 🙂
