Hey guys, congrats on the new plugin! Looks really useful.

    2 questions:

    1. What happens when a customer wants to checkout using your new plugin, but the vendor selling the given product doesn’t have a Stripe account?

    2. What happens when a customer wants to checkout a mixed order, where some vendors have connected a Stripe account, others haven’t?

    Thanks! 🙂

1.) The commission is marked “due”, and you will have to manually pay them as you would any other payment gateway.

2.) Easy! Those connected to Stripe get the commission and the commission is marked paid. Those without Stripe get commissions marked as due for you to pay them later.

    Cheers

    Hi,

On issue 1 you write “just pay manually”.

What does that look like? Can I use the admin interface an with a click route the payment through PayPal, or is that an “external” process where I need to punch in account numbers, make all kinds of mistakes, and then in the end mark the transaction as “paid” in the admin interface?

    J.

PS: this is a presales question. I haven’t bought the GW yet, but think about doing so and would like to understand what I’m getting myself into 🙂

Pretty easy. You run through the commission table and pay the vendors however you pay them. Then, you mark their commissions as paid in wp-admin > WooCommerce > Commissions. That’s it!

Can I route the payment throug PayPal with a click from within the commission table, if the vendor doesn`t have stripe?

If you have PayPal Adaptive Payments turned on, the vendor has entered their paypal email, and they have commissions that are due, the “Pay Now” button in your WC Vendors Payments tab would do it, yup!

Great, I’ll try that as soon as my little marketplace gets going.
