In the vendor-new-order.php email, the commission for the vendor is calculated wrong.
The commission in the email equals: commission based on the purchased amount (VAT excluded), plus the full VAT amount for that purchase. In the backend system VAT is always excluded completely from the commission, which is our chosen setting. So the problem is that the vendor email doesn’t correspond with the backend settings. (in reality, we want to give the vendors commission based on the full purchase amount, VAT included, so that they also receive a percentage of the VAT, but there doesn’t seem to be a setting for that).
Can you give me a step by step to reproduce?
Jamie is on a plan to the USA right now. He is coming here for WooConf. And then he’s staying with me for a few weeks after. I have my chain ready and a desk just for him. Expect much progress on things with both of us under the same roof. 🙂
These are the settings that I have set:
Give vendors any tax collected – Unchecked
Give vendors any shipping collected – CheckedIf I order a product for $20 with $14 shipping, the amount of commission differs from the Vendor Dashboard, Vendor Order Dashboard and the email sent to the Vendor.
It would be great if they could be the same, as they’re confusing our vendors a lot.. 🙂See images below.
