Hi there,
Sorry for possibly stupid questions:
1. Is it correct that the vendor has to add his product in the wordpress backend in the free version of the plugin? It is not possible in the frontend?
2. Will the wc vendor dashboard replace the standard woocommerce dashboard?
3. When admin has approved a product, will the vendor automatically receive an email notification that the product is published?

2.) No. The Standard WooCommerce “Dashboard”, I assume you mean /my-account/ which is for your customers to still use. Your Vendor Dashboard is /vendor_dashboard/ in free, and /dashboard/ in Pro. You can see all this on our demo server, http://dev.wcvendors.com as well.
3.) Nope, although there’s a plugin that will do that, simply install and activate – https://wordpress.org/plugins/publish-post-email-notification/ — This one will do it, and there’s a bunch of others that will, too.

I discovered an error in the swedish translation – the translation for “apply to become a vendor?” is translated “Jag vill bli säljare hos Petmade!”. I don´t know if “petmade” is a company or what it is, either way it is wrong. Just so that you know:)
We have no idea! The translation files are submitted by customers. If you’ve got an updated one, we’d love it! 🙂 [email protected] for any updated translation files, just let us know when you email in the mo/po files what version its for if its not the current version of Pro/Free. 🙂
