    Hi,

Sorry for the dumb question, but when I edit the templates, for example “Store-header.php”, they open up in Notepad and are not space formatted. All of the code is crammed in about 4 rows of code like a big run on sentence.

Any recommendation on a different editor to use or some configuration setting that makes it more readable or is that just the way the templates are saved? Thanks

About 10 years ago, I bought coffee cup’s Direct FTP. I have used this for every site I’ve built since, and consider it indispensable.

The best thing with it is that you can edit php or css files and upload on the same screen. It is a great tool. They do have a free trail for their software, as well.

I took a look at that (has alot of tools with it) and then did a google search on PHP editors(should have done that first 🙂 ). I just downloaded a simple free editor call Bluefish, that seemed to get good ratings.

    Thanks

I use Notepad++ for editing PHP files. Not as cool as Anna’s solution, but it works for me. 🙂 (Free)

Per the WC Vendors Pro Setup guide, there are supposed to be 3 templates:
    1. /store/single-store-header.php – Shows the Vendor Banners, Icons, and all the fun stuff at the top of the Vendor Store
    2. /store/single-store_ratings.php – Store ratings template, when someone clicks on the vendors rating stars from the /vendor_stores/vendor/ page.
    3. /store/single-vendor_store.php – The single store template. Loads the main store header and then products or ratings depending on what is being viewed at the time.

Has #3 been eliminated? I don’t see it anymore. Also I didn’t understand the difference between #1 and #3

Thanks Mark, #3 was eliminated in Pro v1.2.0+ as the vendor store custom post type was removed. So, there really is no difference between #1 and #3 now since #3 is nuked. 🙂
