Hello!

In our shop is “local pick up” necessary as a shipping method.
How can i do that?

Hello,
This is currently not built into WC Vendors Pro. I have searched and found a discussion here: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/pro-local-pickup-option/
That has some ideas and looks to be some success with some ways another user worked to make this possible.

@nofski , who is part of that discussion, is also a member here and is helpful.

This is an option which would require some coding- look through that thread and see if any of the solutions presented can be made to work on yoru site for local shipping.

I haven’t fully worked a solution out yet. thought I had a clunky work around with shipping classes but no. I still can’t even configure shipping properly yet 😀

Hello all-
We are looking into the possibility of adding a local shipping option as one of the new shipping options for the 1.4 release. This one is on the list; I am not positive that Jamie has worked out a fluid and compatible local shipping option quite yet, but it is still in the list, has not been ruled out; “in progress”. 🙂

I’ll be sure to keep people updated as I know any more information (including any idea as to when 1.4 will be finished- right now I do not know, and neither does Ben or Jamie).

Yes, a local shipping method would be very, very interesting! We need this function too for regional products.
In Germany an other european countries is it a big trend!

Please devolop that as soon as possible 🙂
