After the recent round of updates, I lost my product descriptions and store info. Everything is still there in the backend, but gone on my website. Any ideas what would cause this?

Also, woo commerce easy bookings used to work in my check out process even though it is not supported, but no longer the case. Any idea there? I’ll gladly put up $500 to prioritize bookings support and I’m sure others would put up money too.

    Hi Glenn!

Bad news, I have no idea on either of them. Product descriptions, if showing on the back end in wp-admin, but not on the front end, would be an issue with your theme, WooCommerce, or some other plugin conflicting with one of them. Not a WC Vendors issue at all on that one, just gotta work through debugging it.

For bookings, our bookings support will be for WooThemes Bookings, not Easy Bookings since Woo’s version is what most people use and we only have the time to integrate one of them. I’ll show Jamie this thread to see if he has any valuable input for you, not sure if he does though…… 🙁

@ben, do you know if WooThemes Bookings will work on the checkout process like normal if WC is installed? I know it’s not supported just yet, but I was hoping at the least people could still use it for checkout. Before the latest update, my site was working fine under these conditions with Easy Bookings (a great plugin, BTW).

My theme creator said it was not the theme causing the product descriptions to disappear. He said he tested in his sandbox and everything worked fine. Ugh. I love wordpress, but every time I do an update, something breaks on my site. Exhausting!

That’s a good question. I dont know the answer. However, I do not see any reason why Bookings would not work at checkout. WC Vendors doesnt do crap with the checkout page at all, other than calculate shipping if it’s a vendor shipping based product. Bookings would be independent and not vendor shipping based.

The part where we say “We dont support Bookings till v1.4.0” means ONLY that vendors can not use the front end editor to add bookable products, and vendors can not manage bookable products. You, the admin, should be able to use them, and any/all other types without any problem whatsoever.
