    Hello there,

I am going to write a gateway for Mangopay (https://www.mangopay.com/ https://docs.mangopay.com/api-references).

Have you already a doc to do that ? Can I fork the Stripe plugin ? Where should I begin ? Is somebody already doing that ?

    Thank for your advice !

I dont think forking the Stripe plugin would be of much use to you. Forking the PayPal Adaptive Payments code is probably what you’d be looking for, instead. And of course, it’s already included in WC Vendors for free.

You’ll see all the files in the gateway folder and if you’re PHP literate will be able to work out what needs to be done to split commissions and all that fun stuff.

Each payment gateway is unique as to how they work, but in all honest they arent really *that* difficult. It just requires the hours of sitting there testing and coding it.

I’d recommend starting off with a WooCommerce compatible Mangopay gateway if one exists, and forking THAT, and simply adding in the commission routines and the split payments. I think you’ll find it to be the quickest, and simplest route, rather than starting from scratch.

    Hello @simplementnat

We were thinking about using Mangopay as well. Paypal is a nice tool but not great for “professional” use. Our customers perceive paypal like the tool to be used by small startups…

Did you progress well on this integration? I would be interested to know how difficult it is.
