    Hi,

Although I have got only WC Vendors shipping selected and vendors can add their national shipping details into their dashboard fine, when you get to checkout, only international shipping shows – this has been happening for some time now and despite me fiddling around with the options, it’s not changing – please help!

Also – on my product pages on the site itself there is a section labelled ‘Shipping’ that the customer sees, but no shipping info shows up. I’d really really like to have shipping details displayed on product pages – how can I achieve this?

Finally – if vendors select free shipping, is there any way of having this show up on the product thumbnail as a ‘flash ‘FREE SHIPPING!’ or at least prominently on the product page? this one may be a long shot i know but thought I’d ask!

    many thanks for your help
    Pip

    Hi Ben,

So… I need to apologise – I had played around with settings but obviously not enough! In doing the screenshots I looked at the bottom of the Vendor Dashboard>settings>shipping and realised I hadn’t put in the ‘shipping from’ address because I don’t want vendors adding their addresses in. Anyway – I clicked on this, just added ‘United Kingdom’ and now it works! Sorry about that…:-) Also I realised my second question about the product page display is a theme issue so I’ll be going to them on that…

my last question though was –
Is there a way of advertising the free shipping upfront to the customer? it’s definitely a selling point so would be a good feature…?

lastly, while I’m here – there’s a problem with the display on all the dropdown on the vendor dashboard pages – only half the text is visible in the dropdown boxes – any help on this much appreciated!

many thanks for all your help and apologies again, Pip

Glad you got it sorted out.

For advertising the free shipping, you would have to write some custom functions to check the products shipping price, and return a value, and then compare that value to something and if it matches free for shipping, then hook into the WooCommerce loop and show it. Needless to say, custom coding for sure. 🙂

If half of the dropdown is missing, it’s most likely a theme issue that would require you to tweak some CSS. I’m the worse at CSS. Your theme guy is the best at CSS. 🙂

Ok thanks for explaining – custom coding is out for me at the moment (until I launch at least!) so I’ll come back to that one at a later date and I’ll get onto the theme guys again! Thanks 🙂 Pip
