Would you be able to advise me please..

I don’t allow anyone to register to be a vendor, so i’m having an issue when they accidentally land on the vendor_dashboard page. At the moment if they do they see this

“Your account is not setup as a vendor yet. If you would like to register, please complete this page!”

And the rest of the page is blank. Is there any way I can force a direct back to the home page of the site for none venders rather than them seeing this page?

Also on the orders section for vendors when you click”view items” it opens to show the orders, but it also says “Sold By:” which is kind of redundant there as it’s the vendors own products. Could you advise on where to remove that?

    Many thanks
    Sonya

For removing the apply to be a vendor on the vendor dashboard, just edit the templates. There’s a Knowledgebase article. Just open up the files, search for that particular text, delete it, and save it in the theme folder as the KB article instructs. You can do amazing things with the templates! 🙂

Removing the Sold By: on the view items currently is not possible — as it’s attached directly to each product as order metadata. I’ll look into a way to make this possible for a future release.

Thanks Ben, I already use my own templates, it’s more the redirect function I was wondering about 🙂 I’m really looking forward to the Pro version and i’ll be supporting by buy it.

Thanks Sonya…….. Pro is coming along nicely, soon, but not too soon. 😉

That’s the template you’d want to edit for the redirect *and* the message. If you delete line #6 through line #58, then that will delete the vendor registration and the account not approved yet messages entirely. You could just add some HTML in its place to display whatever text/graphics you wished at that point.
